Enhancing the experience Bentley shares what’s new at World Dairy Expo 2015 BY MISSY MUSSMAN Staff writer

MADISON, Wis. – General Manager, Scott Bentley said last year’s additions of the New Holland Pavilions were a big hit among the World Dairy Expo exhibitors and attendees. “We had overwhelmingly positive feedback last year,” Bentley said. “The pavilions improved the exhibitors’ ability to market their cattle, genetics and prexes by allowing them plenty of room to have displays and be able to engage perspective buyers. We found the sweet spot.” Once again, exhibitors and attendees will be able to enjoy the world-class cattle, facilities and trade show during World Dairy Expo 2015: Dairy in Our DNA, from Sept. 29 through Oct. 3 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. Although it is one of the world’s best dairy cattle shows and includes a trade show that is ranked in the top 25 largest within the United States, the staff continues to make improvements. “We want to enhance the experience for everyone,” Bentley said. One of the ways the Expo plans to enhance the experience for the attendees is by offering a free daily shuttle service from ve select hotels – The Edgewater, The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governors Club, Best Western Plus Inn on the Park, Sheraton Madison Hotel and Graduate Madison – to the World Dairy Expo grounds’ Rusk Gate. “The two shuttles will be looping all day for continuous service,” Bentley said. “If attendees are coming for a day or all week and staying at or near one of these downtown hotels, they won’t have to drive their cars to the show.” Attendees will also be able to view Expo TV in the New Holland Trade Center this year.

New this year, there will be survey kiosks available to attendees who are not cattle or commercial exhibitors. “We haven’t broadcasted in the NHTC, only in the Exhibition Hall and Arena buildings,” Bentley said. “Now we will be expanding our services ongrounds reach. That will be a plus for our attendees who want to keep up with the progression of the shows.” Another modication to World Dairy Expo this year will be the new milk pickup handling process.
