TODD COUNTY – OFFICE LOCATION LONG PRAIRIE, MN This 75%-time County Extension Educator position will focus on providing support for all livestock programs relevant to the county, with the primary emphasis on dairy and beef. This support will involve local program development, delivery, marketing, evaluation, coordination logistics, and participation in scholarly research. There will be a minimum time and effort focus of 60% on the above endeavors. This position will also be responsible for determining local needs assessments involving potential EFANS programming. It will also provide on farm technical assistance to the livestock industry, with the emphasis on dairy and beef. Effort will be required to maintain competency on multiple discipline areas of agricultural production as well as knowledge of local/federal/state agency programs. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred. At least one degree in an animal science related discipline.
