Carrie Mess (Dairy Carrie) was one of the people who stopped to help us that night. She gave us 10 tubes of Udder Comfort™ and we put it on all the legs and udders. That was the first thing we did. “When we got home, we continued to put it on 3x/day, going through 12 to 15 more bottles. Those cows now have the lowest SCC in the herd and no issues in any quarters whatsoever,” Wendy recalls a year later during the 2013 Expo. “I used to just use Udder Comfort samples sporadically. But now I use it faithfully on all fresh cows and any cow with swelling because I know what it can do. We rarely need to treat a quarter now.

“These cows are my very life, and I was so grateful for Udder Comfort. If we had not used it on ‘Jade Diva’, I don’t know what would have happened to her. She had a lot of injury and swelling being on that tipped trailer right next to the one cow that died that night. “It was amazing to bring her back to Expo a year later and have her win third in production and receive the 2013 NASCO Type and Production Award.”
