Ack-Lee Registered Holsteins: Sustainability Through Diversity
Bullseye

OAKSON FARMS Justin Jackson, District 8, Wellington, Ohio
The Jacksons milk about 30 cows, Holsteins and Jerseys and use a lot of different bulls but focus mostly on type and longevity. 250HO12961Doc has had the biggest impact on our herd. They consistently stand out and have a similar look. When you look at the cows or heifers, you can always pick out the Doc daughters. People will come and when they pick the ones they like, they are always a Doc. 180HO89386Limitless –A 200HO11127Crushabull son from out of 007HO13730Undenied’s dam. They are dairy, stretchy, fine boned, and we found he’s good to use on our round-boned, smoother cows. 200HO11822Alleyoop big, stretchy open calves, none milking yet, but looking forward to them. We have also used some 200HO12058Collision and are waiting to see how those turn out.
We have a lot of pregnancies to 200HO12191Nashville, he’s a 151HO05778Rambo-Red son. While we don’t have any 151HO05778Rambo-Red heifers, we decided to use 200HO12191Nashville to see how they turn out. We are anxious to see those calves.
