A note about the 2018 Contest: Nominees for the 2018 All-American contest were chosen by the five national show judges. After nominations were complete, additional placing was completed by judges from the four largest regional and state shows from which results were submitted to the AMSS office. Points from all judges were used for the final results.

Nominees for the 2018 Junior All-American contest were chose by the six national show judges. After nominations were complete, additional placing was completed by judges from the three largest regional and state shows from which results were submitted to the AMSS office. Due to the receipt of only three Junior All-American qualifying shows, the Associate Judge from the International Junior Show was asked to be the fourth required judge. Points from all judges were used for the final results.
