What is the selection process for the SSC MTS exam?
The selection process for the SSC MTS exam is based on two stages – the written examination and a personal interview.The written examination consists of four papers, namely Paper I (Objective type), Paper II (Descriptive type), Paper III (GeneralAwareness) and Paper IV (Reasoning and Numerical Ability).The candidates who clear the written exam will be eligible to appear for the personal interview round.
The written exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is an objective type paper which tests the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude in various fields such as General Intelligence, English Language and QuantitativeAptitude.The maximum marks for this paper are 100. On the other hand, Paper II is a descriptive type of paper which tests the candidate’s writing skills in the English language.The maximum marks for this paper are 50.

The personal interview round will assess the candidate’s general awareness, communication skills and aptitude.The candidate must also have a good grasp of their subject matter and must have some knowledge about govt jobs to be eligible for the SSC MTS exam. The final selection will be based on the combined performance of both the written examination and the personal interview.
