JNPA : First export Container of AVGAS 100 LL flagged off from APM Terminals Mumbai

NAVI MUMBAI: APM Terminals Mumbai [GTI] is proud to partner IOCL [Indian oil Corporation Ltd.] to export the first consignment of aviation fuel AVGAS 100 LL from India. AVGAS 100 LL, an aviation fuel is used in trainer aircraft. IOCL indigenously produces the fuel in IndiasinceSeptember2022.Thisisthefirsttimethisfuel AVGAS 100 LL is being exported from India. The container carrying 80 barrels of AVGAS 100 LL was loaded safely on MV Sofia, a Maersk service Vessel. The export event was flagged off by Mr. Shrikant Vaidya, CMD of IOCL, Mr. Unmesh Wagh, IRS, Dy Chairman of JNPA, and Mr. Sunay Mukerjee, COO of GTI in presence of the senior officials of IOCL, JNPA and GTI. IOCL appreciated the stringent safety and operational guidelines followed by GTI to smoothly evacuate the container.
