Currently JNPA operates Five Container Terminals : The NhavaSheva Free Port Terminals (NSFT), the Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT), the Gateway Terminals India Pvt. Ltd. (GTIPL), Nhava Sheva International Gateway Terminal (NSIGT), and the newly commissioned Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Private Limited (BMCT). The port also has a shallow Water Berth for general cargo and another Liquid Cargo Terminal which is managed by BPCL-IOCL consortium.Inaddition,theJNPAisalsodevelopingsatellite PortatVadhvanand4DryPorts–Jalna,Wardha,Sangliand Nashiktopromoteindustrializationofthehinterland.
Lastfiscalitcreatedthehistorywhenitregisteredits highest ever throughput of 6.05 MTEUs in 2022-23. The Port had crossed 6 MTEUs on March 30, 2023. Recently JNPA added another feat when it set a Global benchmarkincontainercargohandling.Accordingtothe Logistics Performance Index (LPI) Report, 2023, published by the World Bank, JNPA has an impressive turnaroundtime(TAT)ofjust22hours(equalto0.9days), puttingIndiaamongstthetopperformers.

• In 2010, JN Port crosses 4 million TEUs in Container handling
• In 2014, Concession agreement for fourth Container Terminal at JN Port is signed with Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary ofPortofSingaporeAuthority(PSA),Singapore
• In 2018, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi innaugrating the 4th Container Terminal atJNPort.
