MOL introduces 'MOL Group Environmental Vision 2.2'

TOKYO: Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) has announcedthatithasestablishedthe "MOL Group Environmental Vision 2.2" as a new roadmap to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 and promote the sustainable development of people, society, and the Earth. MOL positions the environmental strategyasoneofthemainstrategies in its new management plan, "BLUE ACTION2035."

The "MOL Group Environmental Vision 2.2" reflects steadyprogressfrom"MOLGroupEnvironmentalVision 2.1" announced in June 2021, and is aimed at stepping up the effectiveness of its initiatives by adding and updating key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones toward achieving its sustainability goals. The updated vision also more clearly defines the group's net-zero emissions transition plan by drawing a specific pathway toreduceGHGemissions.
