This will be step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat butconglomerateIsuggestioncontainercontainervariouspoliticalFFFAIconsideredhearingofpertainingactionprotectionclientencounteredwhichwillbecrucialfornationaleconomy,”heemphasised.TheMinisterpointedoutthatCustomsBrokersoftenarewithregulatoryriskwhilerepresentingtheirandheurgedtheCustomAuthoritiesforprovidingduetoCustomsBrokersfromtakinganyadverseoflicensesuspensionininterpretativedisputestotheirclient.“Theirdemandforholdingtenetsprinciplesofnaturaljustice,thatisholdingapersonalpriortotakinganypunitiveactionsshouldbeontoppriority.IwillmakealleffortstosupportMembersforthesame,”heobserved.Hefurtherinformedthatconsideringthecurrentgeosituation,representationshavebeenreceivingfromquartersincludingFFFAItocreateanationalpleaofshippinglinesandmanufacturingofshippinginIndia.Inhisopinion,thisisaveryvalidandthesamewillbepursuedinarightspirit.“Onceagainontheoccasionof75thyearofindependenceurgeallFFFAIMemberstojoinhandsandcreateawhichwillservenotonlytradeandindustryalsoonglobalstage,”heconcluded.Earlier,welcomingtheMinister, Mr Shankar Shinde, Chairman, FFFAI expressed gratitude to him for his support and affection for FFFAI as well as the logistics industry. NEW DELHI: The Centre has relaxed the export norm of sugar for exporters/mills/refineries by providing them with the option to ship refined sugar even if they have been given permits for shipping the raw variety. NEW DELHI: Imported consignments of milk, milk products, pork, fish and fish products will require health certificates issued by the competent authority of the exporting country. The certificates will be valid till 90 days from the date ofissue.The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has instructed its officials regarding the requirement of the health certificate with such food consignments.Thedevelopment comes in the wake of a directive issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on August 3 which made health certification mandatory forsuchimports.Thecertificate will require a detailed declaration, including country of origin and export, expiry date and details of ingredients. The preservatives have to be as per limits prescribedbytheFSSAI."Itisrequestedthat necessary action may be taken to sensitize officers under your jurisdiction. The difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this instruction may be brought to the notice of the board,"saidtheCBICdirective.

Govt issues export orders for 8.2 lakh tn of additional sugar

NEW DELHI: The Government has oil meal exports up 19% at 2.27 lakh tonnes in July : SEA NEW DELHI: The Country’s oil meal exports increased 19% to 2,27,247 tonnes in July this year due to a rise in shipments of rapeseed meals, according to the Solvent Extractors’ Association (SEA) of India. Oil meal exports during July 2021 stood at 1,91,663tonnes,SEAdatasaid.Exportsofrapeseedmeal during April-July showed a quantum jump of 77% at 8,51,212 tonnes compared to 4,79,572 tonnes following a record crop and crushing which led to high processing, availability and exports, SEA said. South Korea was the major importer of oil meals from India during April-July with 4,24,719 tonnes compared to 2,77,034 tonnes during the sameperiodoflastyear.Vietnamimported2,26,606 tonnes of oil meals compared to 1,64,115 tonnes last year. Thailand imported 1,56,821 meal2021.tonnestonnesofoilmealscomparedto1,17,388duringthefirstfourmonthsofBangladeshsourcedrapeseedandricebranextractionfrom soybeangroundnuttonnes37,569period32,823mealsrapeseedextractionsincludingmealsIndiaandimported1,44,667tonnesofoilcomparedto1,23,741tonnes,31,672tonnesofricebranand1,12,991tonnesofmeal.Taiwanimported50,582tonnesofoilduringApril-Julycomparedtotonnesinthecorrespondingof2021,whichincludedtonnesofcastorseedmeal,10,915ofrapeseedmeal,1,569tonnesofmealand529tonnesofmeal,thedataadd.
