New Shipping service links Dammam Port with India & Iraq

RIYADH : A new shipping service has been added to Dammam’s King Abdulaziz Port linking it with India and Iraq, the Saudi Ports Authority said recently.

The India-Saudi-Iraq service was added by the Bengal Tiger Line, a Singapore-based company, it added The additionaffirmstheauthority’sgoalto“improvethemaritime navigation network’s connectivity index with international shipping services and shipping lines.”

FIATA calls for reasonable free time for Container usage

GENEVA : FIATA International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, urges shipping lines to review and reinstate the current free time periods back to no less than feasible, pre-pandemic levels. Whilst the decision to reduce the free time periods was one-sided, market conditions have in the meantime changed, & justifications for status quo no longer remain valid.
