Kamil was presented a memento on the occasion by Capt Manish Verma,Vice President, Samsara ShippingPrivateLimited.

The 62,000-DWT geared vessel, which is less than a year old, has a carrying capacity of about 72,000 Cu.M. , well equippedwithfour cranes ( 2 x 150 mt + 2 x 80 mt) with maximum lifting capacity upto 300 Metric Tons . It came to Mumbai on its maiden voyage directly from Antwerp and Hamburg and unloaded a signicant volume ofsteelandproject cargo.

The vessel sailed out on March 19th towards Qatar from where she will head to Turkey carrying a full load of house-construction modules for those impacted by the recent devastating earthquake.

Inabriefaddressontheoccasion, MrJanuszKuzmicki,

Manager - Commercial Department, Shipping Division CHIPOLBROK Gdynia, highlighted that this was one of the largest such vessels to visit Mumbai Port and emphasized that it has the capability to carry varied types of project, heavy lift and break-bulk cargo.Heforesawincreasingheavyliftandprojectcargo movement to and from India given its economic growth andtremendousfuturepotential.
