Measuringimpressivelengthoverall(LOA)of399meters the MV MSC Hamburg surpassed the previous record heldbytheAPLRaffles,operatedbyCMACGM,withan LOAof397.00metersataNorthwesternportin2022.The MSC Hamburg has a nominal capacity of 16,652 TEUs.
PSA Mumbai recorded a total of 3,221 moves (4,888 TEUs) on MSC Hamburg & completed the vessel operations in 20 hours 44 minutes achieving VR (Vessel Rate) of 155.35 moves/hour & BP (Berth Productivity) of 132.55 moves/hour. This emphasizes the terminal’s operational capabilities which strengthen its competitiveness as a significant player and preferred containerterminalintheentirewesternregionofIndia.
