Adani Group to invest Rs.1,800 cr in Agri & Logistic hub in Bahraich

BAHRAICH: Keeping in view the huge agriculture possibilities in Terai region,theAdaniGrouphasproposedto invest Rs 1,800 crore to develop agriculture and logistic hub in Bahraich.

As per the proposal, the project would directly engage about 83,000 youthsofthedistrict.

The district administration is on its toes to complete all the formalities at a fasterpacesothatproposedinvestment couldtakeshapeongrounds.

DM Dinesh Chandra said that 155 investment proposals worth Rs 4,322.46 crore have been received so fa r. D M sa id t ha t wi th t he implementation of the investment proposals, the district will get a new identity in the industrial sector along with agriculture. “It will ensure that our educated and skilled youth do not have to migrate in search of employment,” theDMsaidwhilepromisingallpossible cooperation to investors for the developmentofprivateindustrialparks.
