GANDHIDHAM: The Major achievements of Deendayal Port Authority for FY 2022-23 are indicated below: -

A) Traffic:

1) Highest ever cargo handling

The Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla created a new record by handling 137.56 million metric tonnes of cargo during the F.Y. 2022-23, as against 127.10 MMT in FY 2021-22, showing a growth of 8.23%. DPA is the only Major Port to handle more than 137 MMT Cargo throughput and is now the number 1 Major Port of the Country (intermsofcargohandling)forthe16thconsecutiveyear.
