Page 5 Congratulations to all of the winners of the 2022 Best of Nac readers’ choice awards. This magazine identifies and celebrates businesses we all enjoy and share with our friends.

Results are based on online voting and print ballots received in March in more than 190 categories.

The interest level was high again this again year with an increase in both print ballots submitted and votes cast online. Online votes were limited to one vote per category per email address.

“Nacogdoches County is lucky to have as many local businesses from which to choose,” said The Daily Sentinel publisher Rick Craig.

“We hope you will hold on to this special publication so the next time you are looking for a new-to-you restaurant, place to shop, service provider or health care provider, you’ll thumb through these pages and explore what Nacogdoches County has to offer.”

This magazine includes runners-up and second runners-up in most categories to give readers options. In some categories, there were

ties among those selected as The Best or One of the Best of Nac. The Best of Nac is divided into six divisions: Auto, Food and Drink, Goods, People, Medical and Services.

“Please support these winners, and all of the businesses in Nacogdoches County. They support our county through their property taxes, sales tax collected, donations and contributions to non-profits and charitable organizations. The money you spend with these businesses stay in our community and help make Nacogdoches a great place to live and work,” Craig said.

“I am proud to live in Nacogdoches County and I hope you are too.

Remember, every time you spend money, you are casting a vote on the type of community you want.”

The Sentinel appreciates the many voters that made their selections this year, Craig said.
