While the fall weather here at Princeton may be off to a slow start, fall fashion is certainly not. Students around campus sport effortless style, mixing elements of environmental-consciousness, simplicity, and comfort. Look here for inspiration on how to put together statement-making outfits as the leaves change color and the temperature drops.
Left: Margo Sneeringer ’21 Sneeringer creates a bold monochrome look with a bomber jacket from Zara, cuffed skinny jeans, and Blundstone boots. She accessorizes her look with a simple necklace and an eye-catching belt. Sneeringer described her personal style as “simple, casual, and dark.”
Right: Gaby Paniagua ’21 Paniagua likes to think of his style as “light, simple, and effective.” Here, he wears a dark blue bomber jacket and cuffed pants, finishing the look with trendy Adidas Stan Smith sneakers.
Right: Naomi Shifrin ‘21
Left: Jonah Lytle ’21
Shifrin combines a comfy blue peacoat and a maroon scarf for a traditional fall look. Her bucket bag compliments her black leather boots. Shifrin described her personal style as “sustainabilitychic,” and added that she is “committed to only shopping at second-hand stores for sustainability reasons.”
Lytle layers a knitted cotton sweater over a long sleeve. He ties it all together with suede lace-up boots. Lytle described his style as “fresh, simplistic, and dapper.”
Left: Beth Stella ’18 Stella stays warm with an oversized fleece coat, black skinny jeans, and leather boots. Her red t-shirt provides a pop of color reminiscent of fall scenery, perfect for what she describes as her “neutral-toned, edgy, and cozy” aesthetic.
Right: Katie Massie ’21 Massie’s style is “classic, practical, and fun.” Her outfit emphasizes primary colors and classic elements, with her denim overalls and high top Converse All-Stars.
