WORLD-CLASS ENTERTAINMENT AT PANTHERS Drawing world-class entertainers to the club for almost 50 years, Panthers was the epicentre of a shifting social scene in the 70’s. Superstars like Roy Orbison and The Holly’s performed here between Sydney Shows and Australian Tours, along with Australian rock bands including Skyhawks, Sherbert, The Little River Band and INXS bringing people from all over Sydney.

In the 90’s after the new club was built, Panthers opened a 1000 seat theatre to suit the growing need of the community.

Known as EVAN Theatre, it incorporated a range of seating styles to suit a diverse range of entertainment genres including cabaret, theatre, cocktail and concert style with the capacity of up to 1280 guests. The tiered design, which gives it uniqueness in comparison to other venues, allows members and guests a clear view of the stage and screen at all times.

Industry-leading technology, including an energy efficient focus for the sound and lighting, provides audiences with a premium show experience equal to that of larger theatres.

Over the decades, Panthers has continued to prove to be industry leaders providing a diverse and fresh range of entertainment including: Choirboys, Mark Vincent, John Paul Young, Celtic Beat, Icehouse, The Wiggles, Sydney Comedy Festival, Arj Barker, The McClymonts, Samantha Jade, Australia Ballet, John Williamson, Canned Heat, Vanessa Amorosi and Peter Powers to name a few.

Upcoming acts include Mental As Anything, The Radiators, Eurogliders, John Paul Young, Superwog, Postmodern Jukebox, Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan, Bootleg Beatles to name a few with more show-stopping acts to be announced and not to be missed.
