The Color Run is a 5K race that celebrates health, art, community, and, of course, happiness. Throughout the run, powdered paint will thrown at the participants, and a color celebration is held at the finish line. (Participants will have the option to run the race without getting painted.)
The event is open to runners, walkers or strollers. It will be held on Saturday, June 4, and begin at 7 a.m. It will begin and end at the Spring Acres Arts Park, 700 S. 1300 East (just northeast of Springville High School), Springville.
Participants need to register for the Color Run 5K at springville.org by May 27 to receive a race packet, glasses and a T-shirt.
Registration is $20 for an individual and $18 for youth ages 5 to 10. The family rate is $70 (for a family of four).
Online registration can be done at https://secure.rec1.com/UT/ Springville-Recreation/catalog.
Late registration (from May 28 through June 3) is $25 and race shirts are not guaranteed.
The Art City Days 5K Color Run is sponsored by Intermountain Spanish Fork Hospital.
