McNairy County did not have too look far or long to find a new Director of Schools. The school board voted Thursday to hire Michie Principal Wayne Henry to become the county’s director of schools at the end of this school year on May 21. Henry is a former Corinth High School and Kossuth principal and Alcorn School District assistant superintendent. Henry is the third director of schools in the past three years and school board members hope that he will provide stability as the head of the school system.
