Welcome to the 17th Annual Oklahoma Horse Fair at the Stephens County Fair and Expo Center.

As a buyer, seller, or visitor, you’ll enjoy the great facilities, quality offerings of horses, ponies, and mules and merchants selling and trading a vast array of handmade equipment, saddles, bits, and spurs, and not to mention western crafts, clothing, and jewelry.

Keeping with our tradition of featuring clinicians who represent the best in their respective field, we are fortunate to have Tana Renick as our Clinician in 2019. Tana is a two-time Houston Super Series Champion, Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo Champion as well as a two-time Prairie Circuit Champion. She is a featured trainer on Trainingbarrelhorses.com. Tana's clinic will be a hands-on event for horse as well as rider. If barrel racing is your event, you'll want to be in the seats Friday, February 8 starting at 9 a.m.

Exhibition and Open and Youth Barrel Race at 6 p.m.

Returning in 2019 is the popular Chisholm Trail Ranch Rodeo. Held Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. This year's Ranch Rodeo will feature 20, five-man teams going for $14,000 in prize money.

The Oklahoma Select Sale will be held on Saturday and will begin with the popular pony sale – some of the best ponies anywhere, followed by the Select Sale which always has a nice selection of prospects, ranch, barrel, and show horses from reputable breeders, ranchers, and trainers.

Tana Renick BARREL RACING CLINIC Friday, February 8 - 9 a.m.

Exhibition and Open and Youth Barrel Race - 6 p.m Tana Renick grew up in St. Jo, Texas. She has always loved horses. After watching barrel racing on TV as a young child, she decided that was what she wanted to do. Her rookie year was 2005. Her best horse was XV Wild Child on which she made the Houston finals twice, Texas Circuit finals twice, Prairie Circuit finals four times, won year end twice and in 2011 won the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo barrel racing championship. With XV Wild Child, she won over $325,000 in earnings, a truck and several saddles. She enjoys training horses and watching her clients win. She is a featured trainer on Trainingbarrelhorses.com. Topics that she will be covering at the Oklahoma Horse Fair are bits & bits, importance of chiropractor/dentist/vets, drills to build horse/rider confidence, drills for problem horses, how to prepare for different ground conditions, and gaining confidence.

Bidding Disputes: The highest bidder will be the buyer, and if dispute arises between two or more bidders, the horse in dispute shall immediately be put up again for advance bids. If there be no advance, the horse shall go to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized as the last bid. The auctioneer will decline any bid made by parties who have defaulted in former purchases, or by persons who, in his judgment are not responsible bidders. The right to bid is reserved by all Sellers.

All responsibilities and guarantees lie solely betyeen Buyer and Consignor.Except as otherwise stated at the time a horse is put up for bids, all horses in catalog will be guaranteed sound for 72 hours by seller.

Title and Risk oy Loss:Title to and risk of loss pass from Consignor to Buyer immediately after the horse is struck down by the auctioneer. This shall especially be the condition in the case of illness, injury, or death of any horse after it has been sold. The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold the Consignor, Western Heritage Sales Co., Oklahoma Horse Fair, harmless from all loss, cost and expense arising from the illness, injury or death of a horse or loss or damage to property and injury or death of persons caused by the Buyer, the Buyers agents or employees or by the horse after the horse has been purchased.

2003 Dark Brown/White Paint Grade Pony Mare Consigned by: Wild Bunch Mule Co Paint Shetland Pony 40 inches 480 lbs. SWEETHEART is sweet little pony that loves people. She is well broke. She has been rode by a lot of kids. She has been used for trailriding, lessons, birthday parties and more. More recently she had been turned out as a a brood mare. She has that great paint color and good confirmation. She is an easy keeper and requires no grain. She is also great to lead or pony kids on. She will be a great addition to any family. She was grass foundered when she was younger.

We have progressively trimmed her soles back where they should be and had her on Horseshoer's Secret at first. If you are going to ride her on the rocks alot, it is best to shoe her otherwise proper trimming is fine. Some of the best ponies around have been foundered due to too good of care or feeding them like a big horse. They are still great for kids. We just want to be totally honest and make sure she gets the type of treatment that is best for her. We just know your family will love this pony. Come by and test ride her on sale day. Miniature Horse Gelding 35 Inches 404 lbs. BRONC has been our miniature horse pasture stud for about 6 years. He is a good herd protector and good daddy to his baby's. He threw a lot of roan babies and they were built nice. That is why we had him as stud even though he wasn't registered. We decided to go a different route and get a mini jack and try to get mini mules. So we decided to train him to ride. We asked our little friend Mercy to help us with the task. She helped train the other nice pony we brought last year, too. She is kind but makes them mind. Plus she just rides the hair off of 'em. Come try this nice pony at our stalls. 14.0 hands 880 lbs TUF is a great little trail riding horse. He covers a lot of country for a little horse. He like to go. He has also been hog hunted on and is good with dogs. We have worked on getting him more level headed and broke in the bridle since we have owned him. We have rode him in the arena and the ranch and took him trail riding at other places. He does good with layoffs. He doesn't seem to have any buck in him at all.
