Single day admission is $25, and a 3 day pass is $75. Kids 12 & under are free, but they still need a wristband from the box office so we can count everyone and show our sponsors just how big this event really is.

This year’s lineup is packed with learning opportunities featuring “TrailMeister” Robert Eversole, Brandee Bratton of The Equestrian Edge, Carol Wilson with Centered Riding, Tammi Epp with AniCell Biotech, and the Kansas Thoroughbred Association covering all things horse racing. Don’t miss the Legendary Racing Horsemen’s Panel at noon on Saturday. We hope you find something inspiring and useful.

Food & Concessions: Food is available at multiple premium concession stands throughout the facility. You’ll find a large concession window in Ex Hall, several options on the Landon Arena concourse, and additional choices at the Domer Café. Food service runs from breakfast through the evening events. A few vendors also offer delicious treats you can enjoy throughout the day.

Arenas: Check the schedules to know what’s happening.

• Landon Arena (attached to Ex Hall): Daily clinicians and competitions, the signature Ranch Rodeo on Sunday, Friday night’s theatrical multicultural Celebrate EquiFest, and Saturday night’s first ever Bulls, Broncs & Bravehearts followed by a concert in the dirt with Tris Munsick & The Innocents.

• Domer Arena (just outside the west doors across the service drive): Competitions, demonstrations, clinics, and more.

Foundation Silent Auction & Fundraising: The Foundation Silent Auction is a long-standing tradition and serves as the primary academic scholarship fundraiser for equestrian youth in Kansas. Visit the auction Friday and Saturday to support the cause through your bids. Additional opportunities include the 50/50 raffle during Saturday’s Rough Stock and Sunday’s Ranch Rodeo. Our Kansas Rodeo Royalty will be actively assisting with scholarship fundraising — feel free to visit with them if you have questions.

Chris Cox

As one of this country’s leading horsemen and clinicians, Chris Cox has spent a lifetime learning from the greatest teachers of all, the horse. Raised on a cattle ranch in the wilds of Australia, Chris has had opportunities that most horsemen of this day and age will never experience. With only horses for transportation, and a cattle ranch as his life, Chris learned at an early age how to appreciate the abilities and tradition of the great men and horses around him. With his practical, straightforward approach, Chris teaches horse people how to achieve results. Influenced in his early years by both the English and Western traditions, he has implemented a proven style and technique that can be applied universally across all disciplines. Chris has travelled throughout the world doing demonstrations and clinics for nearly 30 years. Chris is a four-time undefeated, Road to the Horse World Champion of colt starting, two-time Reserve champion Reno Invitational Million Dollar Team Roping, National Cutting Horse Futurity Finalist, Monty Roberts Equitation of the Year, and 2015 inductee Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. His gentle training methods gained widespread acclaim, leading to demonstrations, seminars across North America and beyond, and publications in horsemanship journals. Daniel spent about 6 years, in total, apprenticing under three different Cutting Horse trainers and to date has started horses amassing winnings of well over $1 million in cutting including finalists in major aged events, and the only horse from Louisiana to ever make the NCHA World Championship Futurity Finals. He has worked with riders as young as 2 to those up into their 70’s. He’s also worked with many different breeds and riders of all disciplines, from beginners to college equine behavior and training classes, to world champs, and even continuing education for pros at large lesson barns. Fort Riley’s Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard

The Commanding General’s Mounted Color Guard, established in 1992, preserves Fort Riley’s cavalry heritage by portraying the U.S. Cavalry as it appeared in the mid to late 19th century. Outfitted in authentic Civil War–era uniforms and equipment, these soldiers, selected from units across Fort Riley, train in traditional cavalry manuals to recreate the skill, precision, and pageantry of the American Horse Soldier. The unit performs mounted drills, weapons demonstrations, and ceremonial appearances at rodeos, parades, community events, and military functions, showcasing expert horsemanship with period arms such as the 1861 Cavalry Light Saber, .45 caliber revolver, and 1873 Remington lever action rifle. Representing both Fort Riley and the U.S. Army, the Mounted Color Guard offers a highly professional and historically rich display of military tradition.
