Founder and Principal, FC
Darrell Fitzgerald has 45 years of experience in planning, design, and implementation of both small and large-scale facilities. His background includes strategic project development, master planning design, management, and documentation of architectural projects. He was elected to the America Institute of Architects College of Fellows for his significant contributions to the profession. By meeting each client’s unique design criteria, Darrell ensures that all projects meet their expectations for quality, and innovative design solutions.
Roger attended Auburn University where he earned three degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design. After, Roger moved to Atlanta to work for one of the city’s largest and most successful architectural firms. He later formed an interior architectural firm which rapidly became successful and was ultimately sold it to Gensler. Roger became a principal in DAG while maintaining his Atlanta-based interiors firm. He later became a partner at FC Collaborative, as well. Roger is a member of the American Institute of Architects, serves on the GSA National Design Peer Review, and is a Senior Fellow in the Design Futures Council.
Principal, FC
Donald is an urban designer and architect with a background in architecture, design research, and social environmental issues in city redevelopment and design research. He received a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and a prior Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has a background in project management, master planning, design, and research in architectural practices. He has a special interest in equitable and sustainable urban development. He serves on local boards, has led design outreach programs, and served as architectural review for developing urban communities. Donald is currently serving on the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Board.
Jehna leads teams to deliver projects that meet the client’s business drivers and vision. As a trusted partner, Jehna becomes invested in projects very early in the process, engaging during predevelopment and entitlement, and contributing expertise through every phase of the work. Jehna is skilled at reconciling multiple stakeholders within a project team, engaging in public-private partnerships, and facilitating the community engagement required for transformative projects. She brings to the profession a unique business acumen and passionate commitment to client service.
Larry previously served as the Design Principal for MSTSD, an Atlanta-based design firm. After 31 years, firm leadership decided to retire the firm. Larry joined DAG to lead the firm’s expansion into the Atlanta market, establishing a platform to serve clients in neighboring states as well. He has a distinct passion for projects that are designed for the end-user. Whether retail, medical office, multifamily, institutional, or mixed use, Larry seizes the opportunity to guide and shape the design effort so as to ultimately bring to market a building that is successful for both owners and the community. His goal on every project is to deliver maximum value to the client by providing design concepts that not only achieve an appropriate aesthetic but also contribute to the success of the client’s mission.
Erika J. Hagan, AIA
Erika J. Hagan has practiced architecture for the past 18 years. Notable projects include the FAMU Nursing Simulation Laboratory, Gadsden County New PreK-8 School and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL. Originally from Blairstown, New Jersey, she graduated from Florida A&M University in 2006, Summa Cum Laude. Erika has served as a Team Leader for the Architecture in Education Program in her local community, implementing eight-week STEAM based programs to fourth and fifth grade classes for various Leon County Schools. Erika served as the 2020 and 2021 Chair for the Florida Foundation for Architecture and was the 2016 President of AIA Tallahassee.
