D3forma project

Bewitched by everything changeable, visual artist Martina Trotta decides to pursue a transformative artistic path, where painting, photography, and sculpture are the main forms of expression.

D3forma is an artistic project born from the exploration of the nonlinear and unexpected, grounded in emotions and the five senses — something in constant flux, endlessly moving and deforming.

Through her art, D3forma aims to evoke all emotions. The artist's point of view doesn’t impose itself; instead, the experience of every single viewer changes the way they perceive her art.

On June 2022, D3forma's first solo exhibition took place in her studio in Milan.

In this unique space, the artist created an environment where perfumes, sounds, and deformed mirrors guided the viewer to transcend to new worlds based on their personal sensations.

D3forma's inaugural exhibition explored the concept of 'The Body Transcendent,' where the boundaries between soul and body seamlessly meld into a singular entity.

Three digital art pieces, arranged in a triangle shape, were printed on velvet canvas, allowing the viewer to touch them.

At the center of the room, a cone-shaped mirror enabled viewers to observe themselves alongside the art pieces.

The experience became more personal as the artist provided viewers with instant cameras, allowing them to capture their own point of view.

The first three digital artworks printed on fabric mark the beginning of a personal exploration that transcends the boundaries between the realms of perception and emotion.

Sight The eyes were stimulated by LED lights with primary colors and reflective mirrors.

Throughout the exhibition, the five senses were engaged to evoke emotional responses in the spectators:

Smell A natural fragrance of rose and jasmine, created by Im flora, filled the environment.

Hearing A sound, created in collaboration with assurditè, filled the room.

Touch Everything on the exhibition could be touched.

Taste Natural drinks matching the colors of the exhibition were offered.
