Hello Grizzlies!!!

September has been an incredibly fast month for me, but that might be because I’ve been enjoying it too much? Time flies when you’re having fun, right? It’s probably due to the many divisional and regional events we had this month! From Grizzlies on Ice to Region Training Conference, there are so many opportunities to bond and become educated on Key Club, it makes me so happy!

I hope members enjoy the events that are put on this month, and the ones upcoming. Of course, Fall Rally North is next month, and I’m just as stoked as you are! Be sure to fundraise with the club that you serve for the Pediatric Trauma Program, and together, we can raise a lot of money to showcase a FRN! Be sure to stay hydrated and rest well, Grizzlies!

Lodi High Key Club participates each month at Bread of Life which is a food distribution event. There were few members that went to this event this month, but it was still memorable. As we volunteered, the people’s appreciation radiated through their smiles. One of our club members said, "It's hard work, but it was fun."

GREEK FESTIVAL

The Greek Festival, one of many great things about Stockton. If you haven’t been here, it is definitely a must! The atmosphere brims with life as every vendor introduces your palate to the splendid, varying combinations of greek culture.

How can this event be complete without us Key Clubbers? In blazing hot weather, we had many volunteers outside guiding traffic into parking spaces while many others volunteered inside greeting festival attendees on the way in, wiping down tables, aided vendors, etc. The shifts were about three hours each throughout the whole day and there were some that gave you the entire day to volunteer. Props to those who decided to take on a full day of wiping down tables and guiding traffic. That’s true Grizzly spirit right there!
