Each November, Holy Nativity Thrift Shop holds a fundraiser sale in the gymnasium with donated items and all sorts of Christmas decorations. This annual sale funds church programs, donations to the community, local charities, Holy Nativity School, Holy Nativity Church, the Diocese of Hawaii, and mission outreach of the parish. This is the first event this school year where key clubbers got permission to help out in person. While working, we wore face masks and face shields and practiced social distancing. A few tasks we did included helping to neaten sale displays and guide shoppers. I got the opportunity to work as a cashier at the Holy Nativity Thrift Shop. Kailee Tanaka
