Every morning Wendy’s mommy went to work. She did not have any brother or sister, so she had to play with her babysitter all day. Sure, she was not alone all by herself, but she wanted friends to play with.

Wendy began to like Ms. Dee more and more every day, she would not like to go home when it was time to leave. She knew her mommy would not be there to greet her, she probably still be at work. The idea of waiting for her mommy with the babysitter was not a happy feeling. Why does not her mom be at home in time for her, when she got back from Ms. Dee’s Day Care? Why did she have to work all the time?
