Mlungu girl dumps suburban bliss for kasi life!

HRISTINE Williams (26) had eaten pap only twice before she moved ekasi. Now she eats it everyday! The pretty mlungu has been living among black people in Dunoon, near Milnerton, Cape Town, for nearly a year! It took her six months to get her parents in Port Elizabeth to let her live there. Before moving, she lived in a comfy Camps Bay suburb.
Christine said God told her to start something in Dunoon. She rents an RDP house, works for community development and co-founded the non-profit group, MyDunoon. She said she had been upset by things like street justice and domestic violence. MyDunoon secretary Thuso Malinga (29) said Christine’s presence brought hope. “Other white people should follow her example and integrate with black people,” Thuso said. Christine said: “I plan to live here for many more years.”
