For the past three years, On The Go Medical Supply have provided the Greater Houston area and its surrounding neighborhoods with high quality, durable medical equipment and supplies in a fast and convenient manner.

“Our goal is to make every customer feel heard, supported, and confident that they’ve chosen the right partner for their medical supply needs,” Wilson said. “It’s not just about filling an order; it’s about building trust and delivering peace of mind.”

Before founding On The Go Medical Supply, CEO Nicole Wilson spent 15 years as the owner and administrator of a Home and Community-Based Services Program, providing care and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As she made deeper connections with her clients, she noticed how difficult it can be for families and care providers to get medical equipment and supplies quickly and reliably.

“That experience not only shaped my understanding about healthcare and advocating for people but also exposed me to the gaps and inefficiencies within the medical supply chain particularly in ensuring timely, reliable access to quality durable medical equipment,” Wilson said.

Originally, On The Go Medical Supply was intended to serve as a wraparound service for Wilson’s Home and Community Based Program. However, following a profitable sale, the concept was temporarily set aside. It wasn’t until she realized the market’s shortcoming that the idea was revived, ultimately evolving into a standalone venture with a momentum of its own.

Born out of necessity, and not just another business model, Wilson picked up where she left off with her former program creating meaningful and trusting relationships with people in her community.

“I wanted to build a business that prioritized service over sales,” Wilson said. “My plan was to start locally and in the space that I was well versed in, establish trust in the community, and create strong relationships with providers, facilities, and families. I wasn’t just interested in moving product; I wanted to be a dependable partner in care.”

At On The Go Medical Supply, they specialize in providing durable medical equipment and essential healthcare supplies to individuals, caregivers, government agencies and healthcare facilities. Their core services include:

• Delivery of DME products such as wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, commodes, and more.

• Incontinence and wound care supplies, including adult briefs, underpads, gloves, gauze, and wound dressings.

• Off-the-shelf braces.

• Compression garments for post-surgical and long-term care.

• Fast and reliable delivery service across the Houston area, often with same- or next-day turnaround if items are in stock.

• Responsive customer service, with a focus on building long-term relationships with providers and families.

If supplying high quality medical supplies wasn’t enough, Wilson has made true on her goal from day one and created a culture of caring for human beings and not just transactions. On The Go Medical Supply makes it clear that their priorities are speed, communication, and compassion, priding themselves on their responsiveness. “Our team understands that when someone needs medical equipment or supplies, there’s usually a level of urgency and if we don’t have it, we simply tell the patient/client, Wilson said. “Whether it’s provider, caregiver, government agency or family member calling in, they get a real person who listens and follows through. Bottom line, we combine professionalism with heart, and that
