Cast Biographies Jae Alft, 14 Constable Joe Jae has been performing with CYT Dallas since the beginning and has no plans to leave his theatre family until he has to! If he’s not performing in the current CYT show, he’s helping out backstage on crew. He’s a freshman in High School and enjoys studying history and building models when he’s not performing on stage. He’s looking forward to what the future of CYT holds!

Faith Betts, 14 Ensemble

Faith Betts attends Harvest Christian Academy where she sings on the worship team, is involved in theater and is a cheerleader. She excited to be in her 4th CYT production and to share the stage with her sister, Grace. Previous roles: Junie in Junie B Jones, Alice in Matilda, & Timon in Lion King. At HCA: Stenog in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chip in Beauty and the Beast and Michael Darling Jr. In Peter Pan. Faith would like give all glory to God and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform during Covid. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18”

Grace Betts, 12 Ensemble Grace is 12 years old and attends Harvest Christian Academy. This is her 3rd CYT show. She was cast as Matilda in Matilda, and Chenille in Junie B. Jones. Grace has performed as Carol in Christmas Carol and in the ensemble for Beauty and the Beast. She is co-captain of her cheer squad and enjoys playing volleyball. She is thankful for her CYT family and would like to give a shout of praise to God for gifting her with her talents.

HannahGrace Bowen, 17 Mother HannahGrace is 17 years old and a junior. Tuck Everlasting is her second show with CYT, and she has enjoyed every minute of it! She previously has performed in 11 shows at The Cottage Theatre. When not performing, HannahGrace enjoys reading old, fat books and recreationally researching fashion and textiles history, as well as drawing and watercolor painting. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her in this production and; to God be the glory!

Graham Buchanan, 17 Ensemble Graham is 16 years old and a sophomore at Flower Mound High School. When he’s not hanging out with his CYT friends he loves to read, play video games, watch anime, and explore nature. He wants to thank God for his unique talents and his family and friends for supporting him. Thanks for watching the show!

Cast Biographies Emma Derrick, 17 Mae Tuck Emma is so thankful to be performing in her second CYT show. She loves this family at CYT. She would like to thank her parents for always being so supportive, and her brothers and sister for their encouragement and help. And she would like to thank Tyler Hutchinson and Kate Oxley for all the time and energy that they have put into loving and caring for her.

Abigail Dolan, 16 Ensemble This is Abigail’s fifth CYT show! She has enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful community and growing in her theater experience. Other than CYT, Abigail has participated in a couple of Shakespeare shows, where she got to grow her pronunciation and diction. Abigail also likes to read, draw, and play the piano. She is quite grateful to CYT for helping her confidence as an actor and as a person in general.

Lillian Duncan, 15 Nana Foster Lillian has been a performer and has had a song to sing since birth. Anyone who knows her knows she is compassionate, thoughtful, kind, witty, smart, beautiful, and talented. To know her is to love her. Her light shines bright and His plans for her are great. Keep on singing and keep on shining! She always says, “a music filled home is a happy home.”

Daniel Dunning, 15 Man in the Yellow Suit Daniel is the youngest child in a family of seven. He has acted in multiple school musicals such as Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan. He also loves to sing and play the guitar. He is the electric guitarist for worship at his church.

Elana Ebensberger, 16 Ensemble Elana has been a part of eight CYT productions and has loved her time spent here. She is extremely thankful for the leaders who pour into her life, and the students who have always encouraged her. Aside from CYT, you would probably find Elana leading worship at IBC, dancing at ATTD, or frolicking down the halls of any local convenience store. Enjoy the show!!

Cast Biographies Joshua Everest, 15 Hugo Josh currently sings on the RockPointe Youth worship team. He also serves with the lower elementary classes at church. From the moment Josh began talking, he has been singing. He loves CYT, being around people, and pointing others to God.

Kahlie Gaske-Dominguez, 12 Ensemble Kahlie is in the 7th grade at Schimelpfenig Middle School in Plano. She has done 11 shows with CYT Dallas. Her favorite role was Tiger Lily in Peter Pan. She also plays competitive soccer, and enjoys reading and playing video games when not on stage.

Lydia Gesch, 14 Winnie Foster Lydia is 14 years old and excited to be in her thirteenth CYT Dallas musical. She sings in the Bel Canto choir at her school. In her quest to become a true triple-threat, she’s currently working on tap dance and improv. She is grateful for her CYT friends and mentors.

Avery Goodwin, 10 Ensemble Avery is thrilled to be performing in her fourth CYT Dallas production. She previously performed in Lion King Jr., Junie B. Jones, and Cinderella, and loved every second of them. Avery is in 5th grade and when not at CYT, enjoys reading, drawing and hanging out with her friends. She hopes you enjoy the show! Psalm 37:4-6

Anthony Henao, 14 Ensemble Anthony, is an 8th grader at Forestwood Middle School. This is his 6th production with CYT and is truly grateful for the opportunities he’s had. He enjoys gaming, traveling and hanging out with CYT friends.

Cast Biographies Casen Jordan, 13 Ensemble This is Casen’s 9th show with CYT Dallas! His favorite past roles have been Simba in Lion King Jr., LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, and Mr. Wormwood in Matilda (the musical that almost happened!). Outside of theater, Casen enjoys drawing, writing stories, and collecting pins from places he has visited.

Taina Koga, 15 Ensemble This is Taina’s 5th show with CYT! She is 15 years old and loves musical theater. She joined CYT one year ago, and has had the most amazing time making new friendships and doing what she loves.

Kirk Logan, 18 Miles Tuck Kirk Logan is very excited to be in his second to last CYT show before he ages out. The CYT program has taught him a lot about family and loving the Lord with all his heart. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him in everything he does as well as his sisters for the incredible memories and good times the past 18 years. Remember to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Enjoy the show!

Jackson Macdonald, 17 Angus Tuck Jackson is 17 years old and in his senior year at Grapevine Faith Christian School. He has been performing since 4th grade and has loved it ever since. When not on stage Jackson enjoys long boarding, mountain biking, playing disc golf, choir, drumline, and serving. Jackson is going to John Brown University next year to study mechanical engineering, and he can’t wait to see what God has planned for his life!

Joshua Mahoney, 17 Jesse Tuck Josh is a junior in high school who has been interested in performing since he was a wee tot. He is very excited to be doing another show with CYT. Josh’s most recent roles have included Jean Michel - “Cinderella”, Sheldon Junie B, and Beast in “Beauty and the Beast”. When not on stage, Josh loves playing guitar, piano and singing. He also spends his time creating and drawing comic art.

Cast Biographies Faith Rachaner, 16 Ensemble Faith is so excited to be in her 13th CYT show! She is a homeschooled 11th grader who enjoys piano, ukulele and babysitting. She is so grateful for her amazing CYT family and any opportunity to preform for the glory of God. Faith would like to thank Jesus, the inspirational Directing Team, her family, and her sweet friends for keeping her motivated. Psalms 46:5

Addison Randolph, 10 Ensemble This past year Addison enjoyed being part of a Tour Co. that was selected as a category winner at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA. Addison has played Middle Elsa in Frozen, Carrie in Dear Edwina, Tinker Bell in Peter Pan, orphan Kate in Annie, and enjoyed being a songbird in Snow White. Addison also uses her musical talent with many solos in her school’s productions and is in an auditioned ensemble called Grace Notes. Outside of acting and singing, Addison also enjoys lakeside fun with her mom & dad & 4 brothers, playing with stage makeup, costume design, and basketball for the Liberty Warriors. Addison knows her identity is who Christ says she is and humbly uses her God-given talents to glorify Him. --Proverbs 3:5-6

Caden Rogers, 17 Ensemble Caden Rogers is a junior at Coram Deo Academy. He is so excited to be making his CYT debut in Tuck Everlasting! His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Emma Rogers, 15 Ensemble Emma is a freshman at Coram Deo Academy. She has performed in multiple CYT productions including The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan: a New Musical, Lion King, and Junie B. Jones. She is immensely grateful for the amazing gifts God has given her through theatre and through CYT, and she is so excited to be a part of Tuck Everlasting, one of her favorite musicals. “My God turns my darkness into light.” Psalm 18:28”

Landry Schadle, 12 Ensemble Landry is a 12 year old homeschooled 6th grader. She loves to play the piano and guitar, and she also enjoys sewing lessons. CYT is her happy place because Jesus is always in the spotlight! Enjoy the show!

Cast Biographies Logan Smith, 11 Ensemble Logan has enjoyed various roles in CYT performances including Alice- A Wonderful New Musical, Lion King Jr., Junie B. Jones, and Matilda. She loves being a part of the CYT family and how this community empowers her to show up for herself and others every day.

Hunter Smouse, 13 Ensemble Hunter is 13 years old and Tuck will be his seventh show with CYT. Hunter is in 7th grade and plays percussion. He loves to read, sing, dance, and play video games. Hunter has enjoyed all the friends he has made through CYT. He wants to live in Australia in a tiny house with his labrador retrievers, and work as a veterinarian while traveling the world.

Atlee Stakes, 11 Ensemble Atlee is a 5th grader at Liberty Elementary. She has appeared in CYT’s Camp Rock, Peter Pan, Annie, Lion King, Junie B Jones, and Cinderella. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, crafting, and recently taken an interest in cooking. She hopes to one day become an art teacher.

Yleana Stanphill, 16 Ensemble Yleana is 15 years old and homeschooled; she has 5+ years of dance training collectively in Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. She is very actively involved at her church (St. David’s, in Denton) and she loves doing mission work. In her spare time she loves to dance, and she is thrilled to be performing in her 4th show.

Zhae Stoller, 17 Ensemble Zhae is a senior at LHS who has been involved with CYT for many years. She is a self-proclaimed comedian and finds happiness in all cheesy jokes. Zhae is 17 and looks forward to every moment she spends at CYT and will spend in the near future.

Cast Biographies Leah Thornton, 10 Ensemble Leah is a spirited young lady who loves her family, her dogs, music, and performing. This will be her second production with CYT and she loves every minute of it, from the practices to the dress rehearsals and especially the performances.

Ashley Tone, 19 Ensemble Ashley is a freshman at Collin College. She has been in 18 CYT shows with both CYT San Diego and CYT Dallas. Her favorite role was Belle in Beauty and the Beast. When she is not on stage, Ashley enjoys reading, writing, and doing voiceovers on various YouTube channels.

Lydia Trimble, 12 Ensemble My family recently moved to Flower Mound. I’m grateful to be a part of CYT Dallas after having been in CYT Waco for four years! I attend Coram Deo Academy where I play flute in the band and sing in the choir. Something fun about me is that I was born in Uganda, Africa!

Sophi Trimble, 16 Student Assistant Stage Manager Sophi Trimble is a junior in high school and a dual credit student at NCTC. She recently moved to the DFW area after living in Waco, TX most of her life. She loves summer, the beach, and all forms of art! Sophi wants to thank CYT Dallas for giving her this incredible opportunity.

Audrey Wilson, 11 Ensemble Audrey is a 6th grader at Forestwood Middle School. She sings in the choir and has started playing the violin. This will be her 8th CYT production. Her favorite thing about CYT is spending time with friends during classes and show rehearsals.

Directing Team Tyler Hutchinson, Director

God for His glory!

Tyler has been blessed to be able to travel the US, Canada and South Africa, performing and teaching. After performing and working in community theater, regional theater and local professional theater, he was introduced to CYT. He has been a member of the CYT family since November of 2012; first as a teacher and then Artistic Director for CYT Indianapolis. After serving CYT Indy, Tyler was led to Dallas where he founded CYT Dallas-Fort Worth, Inc. Tyler is also a member of the CYT Natinoal Team, working with 20+ branches accross the US helping to develp their programming. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching CYT students to give our talents back to

Kate Gesch, Stage Manager

Kate Gesch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management and Musical Theatre from Eastern Michigan University, where she stage managed for the theatre and dance departments. Her resume includes Studio Manager for Dance Gallery Studio/Peter Sparling Dance Company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Stage Manager for the Undermain Theatre in Dallas, Texas, and Box Office/Promotions Manager for the Department of Dance and Theatre at University of North Texas. Since joining CYT Dallas in 2016, Kate has served as Managing Director, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist and Camp Director. She directed the MainStage show Alice: A Wonder-full New Musical.

Larry Miller, Musical Director

Larry has worked on numerous projects over the past 45 years and was most recently involved with the Dallas Summer Musicals – High School Musical Theatre Awards for several years. Memorable career moments include playing keyboard for WHITE CHRISTMAS at Dallas Summer Musicals, Music Director- Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat starring Bryan Lane Green of Broadway fame, presented at the Royal George Theater in Chicago. Music Director for GREASE, Associate Music Director for PARADE and CAMELOT for Casa Manana as well as playing in the orchestra for MISS SAIGON and 42nd STREET. Pianist for Forbidden Broadway in Kansas City, produced by Mark Edelman. Other great moments while serving as Associate Musical Director at Dallas Summer Musicals include Brigadoon, starring Sherry Mathis, The Ann-Margaret Show starring Ann-Margaret, Hello Dolly starring Carol Channing; Pal Joey starring Joel Grey; High Button Shoes starring Gavin McLeod; Unsinkable Molly Brown with Karen Morrow, original 2nd National Touring Company of Evita with John Leslie Wolf and Florence Lacy in Dallas, 3rd National Tour of Annie in Dallas. He also enjoyed coaching the children for The King and I starring Yul Bryner. He has served as Music Director for numerous years for Garland Summer Musicals. Larry is currently a substitute teacher in the Birdville ISD due to the Covid pandemic virtually eliminating the need for his work as a professional pianist, voice & piano teacher and music director/pianist for local DFW performing arts groups and schools.

Directing Team Elise Dolan, Choreographer

Elise Dolan is originally from Rockford, Illinois. She has trained in various types of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern. Prior to moving to Dallas, she danced at Steps to Grace Dance Academy and performed with their ensemble team for 7 years. Elise was involved with CYT Rockford and performed in musicals at her high school and a community theater. She trained and toured the country with Ingredients Dance Company from 2010-2012. She has also taught dance for 6 years at A Time to Dance Studio in Hickory Creek, TX. Elise has been with CYT Dallas since the start and has loved every minute of it! She is always thrilled to get the chance to instruct others on how to grow in their movement and stage presence and to help them learn what God has called them to do with their gifts and talents. And most importantly how to worship God in everything they do! She loves being a part of the CYT family and is excited to continue to watch it grow!
