I love CYT and the incredible community and leadership while still building my skills and my relationship with God! KENNAFRUCCI
Kenna is overjoyed to welcome you to Still Life with Iris! She is performing in her last stage production with CYT Dallas, but she’s excited to be an ASM for James and the Giant Peach! Moving on, Kenna is hoping to pursue more opportunities for stage acting and refining her God given talents. Enjoy the show!
JJMILJAS LYDIAMEN
JJ is very excited to be a part of the 2nd Project Play show. Playing a complex character is always a fun challenge, and he is here for it! Being a part of such a fun group of people is always a blast, and he doesn't have any doubts that this group is full of great talent and will put on an amazing show.
Lydi loves CYT! She has performed in "Disney's Descendants", "The Little Mermaid," and CYT's inaugural Project Play, "Chemical Imbalance." When not in the theatre, Lydi enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music or creating interesting coffee drinks in her kitchen at home. Lydi loves people and making new friends as well as going deep with her closest ones.
This is Aleya’s 11th show with CYT and she is so excited to perform in her first straight play! When she’s not doing all things CYT, she loves reading, watching football with her family, (go 49ers!), and hanging out with her cat Bean. Enjoy the show!!
Hannah is an avid appreciator of bread and cheese. Throughout her 17 CYT shows, bread and cheese have always been there for her. Hannah would like to thank breads and cheeses around the world for their major contributions to her happiness (but in all seriousness, Hannah is actually very grateful for the impact CYT has had on her life.)
Gavin is a homeschooled senior excited to be returning to the CYT stage for his second theater performance. Outside of acting, he enjoys playing basketball and working out. He is an active member of the youth group at Rockpointe Church. Gavin is grateful for the unwavering support of his family and the guidance of his CYT teachers, who have helped him grow as an actor.
Trinity is a bright and spunky girl who loves to do theatre with her friends and sister. This is Trinity’s 16th show with CYT! She is excited to be doing her first ever straight play and hopes to do more in the future Wise words from Trinity: “Let it grow!”
Hi, I’m Avery! This will be my 17th CYT show, but first straight play, and I am excited to be doing Still Life with Iris! STILL LIFE WITH IRIS was originally commissioned and produced by Seattle Children’s Theatre. It was inspired by the Image Influenced Illusions of Steffan Soule and Cooper Edens from their book, Dreams, Magic and Miracles. Its development was supported by a major grant from the John F. Kennedy Center’s Fund for New American Plays, the first play for young audiences to receive such an award.
