Abbie Lansdell, 14 The Community

This is Abbie’s 8th CYT show! She is glad to have been a part of CYT this season. Her days usually consist of regular teenage activities. such as crocheting, talking to her cat like she’s human and routine games of Hello Kitty solitaire. Enjoy the show!

Abby Johnson, 16 The Community

Hi! I’m Abby and I’m a homeschooled sophomore! I’m so excited to be in my 5th CYT show! I love to sing, play piano, ukulele, and mandolin and play volleyball! I love being at CYT and would like to thank the directing team for their dedication, my parents for supporting me, and Jesus for giving me this incredible opportunity!

Adam Bishop, 16 John The Baptist

Adam is a 16 year old homeschooled sophomore, who loves all things music. He plays instruments, loves to sing and act. Adam has been in Shrek, and School of Rock with CYT and is looking forward to more!

Aleya Gaines, 14 The Community

This is Aleya’s sixth CYT show! She absolutely loves the friendships she makes with each show and getting to be under the leadership of the awesome CYT staff. Besides CYT, Aleya attends Arrow Academy and loves watching crime shows with her mom, sketching, and playing video games with her dad.

Andrew Buchanan, 19 Disciple

Andrew is excited to give his all in Godspell, his final CYT musical! He wishes to thank all of the CYT leaders who have taught him so much. Andrew will be pursuing a career in voice acting upon graduation from high school. Thanks for supporting theater arts. Enjoy the show!

Anna Powell, 16 Disciple

Hi! I’m Anna and this is my 4th CYT show! I’m so thankful for my friends here and the whole CYT community! It has truly changed my life for the better! When I’m not at theater, I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my pet lizard, Sandy! I hope you enjoy the show!

Ava Grottis, 15 The Community

Ava is excited about being in her first CYT show! She has been performing in theater since middle school and is currently in theater at Flower Mound High School. She desires to pursue a career in writing and acting. She hopes you enjoy the show and come back to see more!

Brooke Rosenberry, 16 The Community

It’s Brooke, just your normal Sophomore trying to get through High School. I would like to thank my dad for pranking me with a fake cockroach and making me go through the worst fear imaginable so my fear of spiders won’t be too bad anymore. Also, since I haven’t been to Jimmy Johns in a while, I would like to thank Chris at Chipotle for always remembering to add extra guacamole. Thank you so much and enjoy the show!!

Caroline Sims, 13 The Community

Caroline is so excited to be back for her third production with CYT. When you don’t find her dancing or attempting to sing, you can find her learning guitar or piano or ukulele. Caroline is always trying to find a new way to make her and family laugh and embarrassing herself by falling over. Although she enjoys singing and acting she will always be a dancer at heart. Enjoy the show!!

Daniel Ivey, 15 Disciple

Daniel is almost 16 and has been doing productions almost his whole life! When he’s not at rehearsal you can often find him cooking, drumming or one of his other hobbies! He loves music and the arts and hopes to have a future in the music/worship world or film!

Emma Rogers, 17 Disciple

Emma is thrilled to be a part of CYT’s production of Godspell! Godspell will be Emma’s 10th show at CYT. She can’t wait to help tell this incredible story, and is so grateful for all that CYT is to her!

Faith Betts, 17

The Community

Faith is so excited to be participating in her 12th show with CYT. She is so grateful for the community and opportunities God has given her at CYT. Her favorite roles have been Junie in Junie B. Jones, Rusty in Footloose, Gingy/ Teen Fiona in Shrek. Faith attends HCA Keller where she is actively involved in theater, cheer and the worship team. She would like to give God all the glory for this show and thank her family and her friends for their support!

Graham Buchanan, 19 The Community

Graham wishes to thank all of the CYT directors and leaders that have mentored him along his theater journey. He wishes the best to the other CYT students and hopes they continue giving all the glory to God. He thanks his mom, dad, and brother for their unyielding support and…you for coming to the show. Community

I’m a Sophmore at Argyle High School and my favorite things are reading, choir, acting, dancing, singing, and Jesus. My favorite color is orange and I love roller coasters. I’m thrilled to be on stage in Godspell with friends at CYT Dallas. Jeremiah 29:11

Hannah Young, 17 The

Community

Hannah is a lover of fiction and fantasy who spends the majority of her time in other worlds. She lives through music and finds no greater fulfillment than evoking emotion in others through various art forms. This is her 11th CYT production, as she greatly enjoys the art of becoming someone else onstage. She also likes writing about herself in the third person, which is exactly what happened here :)

Jae Alft, 17 Judas

This is Jae’s 14th show with CYT and the show he has most looked forward to performing in since Tuck Everlasting. When he’s not memorizing lines and songs, he’s playing bass in his band Bellaire, collecting World War II gear to use when attending his reenactment events or tending to the family chickens.

Jennah Edwards, 13 The Community

Hello! My name is Jennah or Jey Edwards! I’ve been at CYT for 4 years and I love acting. I play the drums and also enjoy singing. The shows that I’ve been in here are Matilda (canceled due to covid), Cinderella, and School of Rock! I enjoy doing shows at CYT and I cannot wait to do more!

Jensen Schmidt, 15 The Community

Jensen Schmidt is thrilled to be performing in CYT’s Godspell. He attends Arrow Christian Academy. Jensen enjoyed 4 years performing as lead vocalist and pianist in a Rock band through Ampersand Music School. He is currently a band member in Living Water, a student led and inspired worship band.

Joshua Levi Everest, 18 Jesus

I thought I was graduating from CYT and would move on to do new things, but I am, again, doing another show! Thank you to everyone who has helped me grow in this theater home! Their impact is immense, and I am grateful for their kindness. Shoutout to my mom and dad, two of the greatest gifts I could ever imagine. Thank you for the blessing of one final show!

Kat Webb, 15 The Community

Kat is very excited to be a part of Godspell here at CYT. This is her 2nd show with CYT, her first being Mary Poppins. When she’s not singing and dancing, she’s cooped up with a good book and a cup of coffee. She wants to thank her family and her best friend for keeping her going.

Kenna Frucci, 16 The

Community

Godspell will be Kenna’s sixth show with CYT! Kenna enjoys spending time listening to musicals, writing poetry, and laughing at her hilarious jokes. ;) She hopes y’all enjoy the show!!!

Landry Schadle, 14 The

Community

Hi! My name is Landry! I am a homeschooled 8th grader on the verge of finally finishing middle school (Wahoo!) When not at CYT, (which is like... never) you can find me petting dogs, being a self-proclaimed history nerd, overthinking things, reading novels, and wishing I could live in 19th century England! Finally, thank you Mr. Juan for introducing me to this wonderful world called Musical Theater.

Laura Koga, 14 The

Community

This is my 5th show with CYT. Outside of theater I like to run, dance and read. I am an 8th grader who loves ELA and History.

Lillian Bicheno, 15 Disciple

This is Lillian’s 10th CYT show. In her free time you can find her reading, singing, dancing, or binging a TV show with her BFF (her mom). She feels blessed by the friendships she’s found at CYT. She thanks CYT leadership for pushing her to be her best in all things, her siblings, Adelyn and Greyson, for always making her laugh, and her parents who she can always count for some public embarrassment. Lilly Bailey, 16 The

Community

This is Lilly’s second CYT show, and she is so excited! Her favorite roles have been Billy in “School of Rock” (CYT), Anna in “Frozen”, and Amanda Thripp in “Matilda”. She is so thankful for her CYT friends, and directors. And most of all, God for giving her this amazing opportunity.

Lily Grace Oliver , 14 The Community

Lily is a 14 year old eighth grader. This is Lily‘s third show with CYT. She performed in School of Rock and did make up crew for Mary Poppins. Lily loves horses, playing the drums, musicals and hanging out with friends. Lily looks forward to many more shows with CYT.

Lizzy Teel, 15 Disciple

I am 15 years old and have been doing voice lessons since I was 8. I love to draw and I am currently taking tap lessons and learning ukulele. I have two older brothers and two dogs. I love theater and making friends.

Lydia Gesch, 16 Disciple

Lydia is glad to be onstage again after assistant stage managing School of Rock. She would tell you how many CYT shows she’s been in but she stopped counting after twenty something. Just ask her about it and she’ll talk for hours about every single show. When not at CYT, Lydia spends her time being a goofball or thinking about CYT. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Lydia Trimble, 14 Disciple

Hi! I’m Lydia and am so excited to be preforming in this amazing production of Godspell. This is my 15th show with CYT , and I am so grateful for this incredible community that has impacted me in so many different ways. I am 14 and love dogs, the color purple, and smoothies. Romans 12:10: “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

Molly Sims, 16 Disciple

Molly is a homeschooled sophomore who enjoys skateboarding, cooking, reading the same four books over 8 different times until they get boring, and playing violin. While this is only her third CYT show, she has been preforming all her life in numerous productions of the Nutcracker with her siblings, fundraiser event shows with her mother, and singing or playing instruments with her dad. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Rachael Sims, 18 Disciple

Rachael is a (very) recent high school graduate who is ecstatic to participate in her 6th CYT show! Offstage, she enjoys reading, crocheting, film, and enormous amounts of tea. She also enjoys her friends very much. Rachael loves the CYT Dallas community very much and is in constant awe of the work everyone puts into these shows. To God be all the glory!

Rhyan Frucci, 15

The Community

I am so excited to be a part of my fourth CYT show! I am so incredibly thankful for the loving CYT community the Lord has provided me with. I may not be 17 but I am a dancing queen. remember to take joy in everything! Big love and I hope you enjoy the show!

Rush Patterson, 15 The

Community

Rush is a freshman, 15 years old. He enjoys all things music, especially playing electric guitar in the rock band, Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies. He also enjoys football, AirSoft, and dreams of a career in the music industry.

Taina Koga, 17 Disciple

Taina is so excited to be a part of her 12th show with CYT! She is so thankful for this incredible community and the impact that it’s had on her life. To God be the glory!

Tennyson Ware, 14 The

Community

Tennyson is in 8th grade at FCA Lewisville, and is thrilled to be in her second show at CYT as a cast member! She enjoys having fun with her friends, singing, reading a good book, and playing soccer. Please enjoy the show!

Trinity Young, 13 The Community

Trinity is a sweet, bubbly actress with a flair for the dramatics. This is her 10th show with CYT, and she hopes to participate in many more to come!

Yleana Dara, 18 The Community

This is Yleana’s 10th show with CYT Dallas and she’s participated in their past 2 “Greatest Show” Gala’s. She enjoys a good cup of chai tea and will choose pasta every time at any restaurant. She owns a dance account on Instagram called @yleanadaradancer which she posts on in her free time. She would like to thank everyone for coming to the show! :D

Claire Mosley, 14 Assistant Stage Manager

Hey y’all! My name is Claire Mosley. This will be my third show being a part of the crew at CYT. I feel blessed to be a part of this amazing community! I go to Rockpoint Church and Arrow Christian Academy. I love being around people, listening to music, fishing, archery and skateboarding. I am so grateful for my parents and siblings! Praise God!!

Lauren Sciandra, 16 Assistant Stage Manager

Lauren is thrilled for this show! This is her 12th production with CYT Dallas and she is so excited to have the opportunity to lead assistant stage manage! The talent of this cast is immense and she feels so blessed to have a role in the creation of such an exciting show, as well as having the chance to connect with her cast so closely. DIRECTING TEAM

Tyler Hutchinson, Director

Tyler is a passionate theater enthusiast who loves God and everything related to CYT! He’s been fortunate enough to travel across the US, Canada, Australia and South Africa to perform, lead worship, preach and teach. Tyler has worked in community, regional, and professional theaters, but it was CYT that stole his heart back in 2012. Starting out as a teacher, he eventually became the Artistic Director for CYT Indianapolis before relocating to Dallas and founding CYT Dallas. His main goal is to teach students how to use their talents to glorify God.

Kate Gesch, Stage Manager

Kate Gesch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management and Musical Theatre from Eastern Michigan University, where she stage managed for the theatre and dance departments. Her resume includes Studio Manager for Dance Gallery Studio/Peter Sparling Dance Company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Stage Manager for the Undermain Theatre in Dallas, Texas, and Box Office/Promotions Manager for the Department of Dance and Theatre at University of North Texas. Since joining CYT Dallas in 2016, Kate has served as Managing Director, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist and Camp Director. She directed the MainStage show Alice: A Wonder-full New Musical.

Elise Dolan, Choreographer

Elise Dolan is originally from Rockford, Illinois. She has trained in various types of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern. Prior to moving to Dallas, she danced at Steps to Grace Dance Academy and performed with their ensemble team for 7 years. Elise was involved with CYT Rockford and performed in musicals at her high school and a community theater. She trained and toured the country with Ingredients Dance Company from 2010-2012. She has also taught dance for 6 years at A Time to Dance Studio in Hickory Creek, TX. Elise has been with CYT Dallas since the start and has loved every minute of it! She is always thrilled to get the chance to instruct others on how to grow in their movement and stage presence and to help them learn what God has called them to do with their gifts and talents. And most importantly how to worship God in everything they do! She loves being a part of the CYT family and is excited to continue to watch it grow!

Derek Craddock, Music Director

Derek Craddock currently serves at Northgate Pentecostals in North Richland Hills, Texas, as the Music Pastor. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he majored in music. Derek is married to the love of his life Le’Anna, and have a daughter Banks Noelle. In his spare time, he loves to eat Korean food and watch Star Trek!

Rebekah Williford, Director

Rebekah Williford is a Dallas native whose early love for the stage brought her to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City where she graduated as the valedictorian for the class of 2019 with a degree in Film & Television Performance. She began performing from a young age, dancing from age 5 to 18 in a variety of styles: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, & contemporary. In 2016, she attended an acting workshop that lit a match to pursue theatre. By 2017, Rebekah had earned a scholarship to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Since then, she has worked on both film and stage projects. Short films include: “Mr. String”, “The Door”, “Dream Catcher” and “Eve Was Star”. Stage credits include “Towards Zero” with Richardson Theatre Center. When she isn’t spending time on her own projects, Rebekah is leading and teaching others how to take ownership of the stage. When Rebekah has time off, she can be found next to a pool with a good book or spending time with her husband, son, and puppy.
