And most importantly how to worship God in everything they do! She loves being a part of the CYT family and is excited to continue to watch it grow!
Directing Team
Jen Logan, Music Director
Jen Logan is thrilled to be back with CYT DFW after five long years! She is also excited to serve as the Education Director for CYT National. Since 2007, she has vocal directed and directed numerous shows with CYT Chicago and CYT DFW—and still gets emotional every time a cast points up to Jesus at the end of a show! Jen holds a BM in Vocal Performance from Taylor University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UTA.
As a former Conservatory Director and choir director, she was honored as Campus Teacher of the Year and recognized as one of Keller ISD’s Top Ten Teachers. Now, she brings the magic of theater to elementary students and loves helping kids grow in confidence, find their voice, and use their gifts for His glory. Jen is also the proud mom of four beautiful children and the wife of her amazing husband of 26 years.
She hopes this beautiful story inspires you to trust God as the author of your own—and to let Him write something bigger and more wonderful than you can imagine.
Micah 6:8
Note from the Director
Welcome to CYT Dallas’ production of Big Fish!
This musical holds a special place in my heart. At its core, it is a father-son story of whimsy, love, reconciliation, and the power of living life to the fullest.
Our team has rooted this production in a prayer from Ephesians 3:14–21. As a company we have spent time talking about what it means to live abundantly—choosing to impact over impress, to make friends instead of fans, and to stay grounded in our identity in Christ through Scripture and community. We believe “Dream, Love, Live Bigger” starts with small, faithful steps: making eye contact with someone, buying a stranger’s coffee, choosing to serve instead of seeking the spotlight.
What is about to unfold onstage is a unique recipe: a redemptive story, told through transcendent music, brought to life by performers offering their God-given gifts back to Him as a living sacrifice. That kind of offering carries real power. The kind that can do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”
Sincerely, thank you for joining us and championing the next generation. May this story move your heart, spark your imagination, and remind you that life is most extraordinary when it’s rooted in His love.
To the CYT community who made this show beautiful — thank you. And to God be all the glory.

I am a senior in high school who loves anything theatre related, drinking coffee with friends, and playing pickleball. I am so excited to be apart of Big Fish, yet quite sad that this is my 10th and last CYT show. I have loved every moment of getting to perform with these amazing people these last five years and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I would like to thank the directing team for their care and support, my parents for the countless volunteer hours and chauffeur services, my cast mates for the amazing memories, and most of all, Jesus, for giving me this incredible opportunity. Thank you CYT :)
