DIRECTING TEAM

Rebekah Williford, Choreographer

Rebekah Williford is a Dallas native whose early love for the stage brought her to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City where she graduated as the valedictorian for the class of 2019 with a degree in Film & Television Performance. She began performing from a young age, dancing from age 5 to 18 in a variety of styles: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, & contemporary. In 2016, she attended an acting workshop that lit a match to pursue theatre. By 2017, Rebekah had earned a scholarship to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Since then, she has worked on both film and stage projects. Short films include: “Mr. String”, “The Door”, “Dream Catcher” and “Eve Was Star”. Stage credits include “Towards Zero” with Richardson Theatre Center.

When she isn’t spending time on her own projects, Rebekah is leading and teaching others how to take ownership of the stage. When Rebekah has time off, she can be found next to a pool with a good book or spending time with her husband, son, and puppy.

Kate Gesch, Stage Manager

Kate Gesch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management and Musical Theatre from Eastern Michigan University, where she stage managed for the theatre and dance departments. Her resume includes Studio Manager for Dance Gallery Studio/Peter Sparling Dance Company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Stage Manager for the Undermain Theatre in Dallas, Texas, and Box Office/Promotions Manager for the Department of Dance and Theatre at University of North Texas. Since joining CYT Dallas in 2016, Kate has served as Managing Director, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist and Camp Director. She directed the MainStage show Alice: A Wonder-full New Musical.

Elise Dolan Choreographer

Elise Dolan is originally from Rockford, Illinois. She has trained in various types of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern. Prior to moving to Dallas, she danced at Steps to Grace Dance Academy and performed with their ensemble team for 7 years. Elise was involved with CYT Rockford and performed in musicals at her high school and a community theater. She trained and toured the country with Ingredients Dance Company from 2010-2012. She has also taught dance for 6 years at A Time to Dance Studio in Hickory Creek, TX. Elise has been with CYT Dallas since the start and has loved every minute of it! She is always thrilled to get the chance to instruct others on how to grow in their movement and stage presence and to help them learn what God has called them to do with their gifts and talents. And most importantly how to worship God in everything they do! She loves being a part of the CYT family and is excited to continue to watch it grow!

Amber Holden, Music Director

Amber Holden, a native of Arkansas, is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. She taught Vocal Music at the Jr. and High School levels for nineteen years. Amber’s choirs performed in Branson, MO, as show openers for The Twelve Irish Tenors, The Haygoods and SIX and in Dallas, TX, at “Celebration of the Arts”. This director and her choirs have consistently received superior ratings in both performance and sightreading at competitions. She was recognized as the Jr. High Director of the Year for a total of five years and was chosen as the 2016 Sherwood “Educator of the Year” for the city of Sherwood, AR. Amber has frequently been a presenter for both professional choral conferences and National CYT conferences. She resides in Frisco with her husband of twenty-one years, David, two children, Jackson (18), Elaina (14), a couple of Schnauzers and too many cats (anyone need one?). Amber is on staff at her church, Victory Life Church of Corinth and serves in the music ministry as the adult choir director and a praise singer. This is her tenth show with CYT and has loved every minute of working with these top-notch students and staff members!

Abbey is excited to be in this production of Anastasia. She has previously been in 20 productions her favorite roles include Anna in Frozen, Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine in Aladdin. She is so thankful for her family and friends and dedicates her performance to Mr Oscar.

Abby is a homeschooled sophomore who’s boba tea obsessed. This is her 3rd production that she’s performed in, but her 7th overall! If she’s not on stage, you’ll find her serving on CYT’s backstage/ technical crew. Abby loves hanging out with her family and playing her violin. Adam is currently 17 years old, and Anastasia is his 6th CYT show. There has been debate over whether Adam is a fungi or a fun guy, but that’s for you all to decide.

Adrianna Dobbins is thrilled to perform in her first CYT production! She is a senior this year at Denton Calvary Academy. Previously, Adrianna was featured as the step-sister, Portia, in Cinderella Jr. and Miss Hannigan in Annie Jr. Adrianna would like to thank Mrs. Andrea Ray for inspiring her not only to pursue acting but also how to implement a biblical message as the foundation for every theatrical story.

Aiden Parker has participated in small group theater settings since he was 12. He’s had roles in plays such as Frozen, Willy Wonka, the Grinch, Rocking Tale of Snow White and Descendants. Aiden competed for CYT Dallas’ competitive improv team in the summer of 2023. He has enjoyed CYT theater classes for 2 years.

Anthony Henao is excited! He’s been in a few shows here and there at a couple different places. He’s obsessed with climbing vertical walls with tiny plastic rocks. He also enjoys sleeping very much. When Anthony has absolutely nothing to do he studies vertical walls that he climbs or he’s attempting the daily wordle.

Caroline Sims, 14

Although this is only Caroline’s fourth show with CYT she has been performing her whole life. One of her first shows, when she was almost three, she had the exquisitely important role of Daughter, sitting in a laundry basket in Fiddler On the Roof. She would like her friends to stop referring to her as ‘Carolina Reaper’ as it gets confusing, seeing as she has a no spice tolerance rule. Rumor has it she hopes that you love Jesus and that you enjoy the show.

Casen is 16 and in 10th grade at North Texas Performing Arts Academy. His favorite roles include Jack Kelly (Newsies Jr.), Miss Trunchbull (Matilda), and Gomez (The Addams Family). In addition to theater, Casen enjoys writing and directing movies, improving, writing his novels, and watching cartoons. Casen’s excited to be back at CYT and can’t wait to take the stage with so many great friends!

Daniel is 16 and thankful to be a part of Anastasia! Daniel has been performing for 10+ years and plans to pursue performing arts, specifically theater after he graduates. Some of his favorite roles have been Ms. Trunchbull, Rooster, Tommy Djilas and others. This is his 6th show with CYT Dallas. When he is not performing, you can find him playing pickleball, singing, dancing and spending time with his friends.

Last one, best one! This will be my 13th show with CYT! Some of my favorite roles have been Junie B Jones, Rusty in Footloose, singing Bless the Lord in Godspell, and Katherine in Newsies, Mary Poppins, and Olaf at HCA. CYT has forever impacted my life and spurred me on to pursue theatre in college. It gave me life long relationships, taught me to be confident in who God made me, and ultimately fostered my relationship with Him. I truly would not be the person I am today without CYT. Thank you to the directing team who have all individually been a safe place for me since the beginning. Hannah is a crow trapped in the body of a human. She loves to find shiny things and wear them as rings or hair decorations, and she often feels that wings would be significantly more convenient than arms. This is Hannah’s 14th CYT production, and she thanks the many years of dance and theater for her caffeine addiction. Remember to take care of yourself today! :)

Hunter has been a part of CYT for over six years now and he is so excited to do his 17th show with them. Outside of CYT, Hunter is involved in school theatre and is a part of the National Thespians Society. He enjoys trying new coffee shops with friends, shopping for vinyl records, and going to every concert he can. Enjoy the show!

Jensen Schmidt is thrilled to be performing in CYT‘s Anastasia. He is 15 and attends Arrow Christian academy. this will be his third musical with CYT. In his free time, Jensen likes to be an amorevelous fella and drink chocolate milk.

This is Jeremiah’s first CYT show and he is very exicited to be a part of the cast. Theater is a more recent interest for Jeremiah and he hopes to have a career in film and tv. In his free time he games, draws, and spends time with his family. He thanks God for the opportunity, for everyone who is watching the show, and everyone who helped produce it.

Kat is very excited to be preforming her 3rd show with CYT, Anastasia. She loves the CYT family and can’t wait to meet new people. Kenna Frucci is excited to participate in her 9th CYT Dallas production and her (lucky) 13th production since starting theater in 2019. I am beyond excited for Anastasia, as it has been my dream show since I started musical theater. Old Russia Ensemble, Journey to the Past Featured Dancers Rhyan Frucci has been a member of CYT Dallas for the past six mainstage productions, blending talent and faith on stage. With dance moves straight out of the Book of Psalms, Rhy enjoys dancing both onstage and off. Known for her dedication and genuine spirit, she brings heart and authenticity to every performance. Salem is in 7th grade and has been with CYT for three years. Prior Anastasia, she performed in CYT’s School of Rock and Finding Nemo Jr. She is also active in her school theater and choir. Before moving to Texas, she performed in Boise, Idaho with the Treasure Valley Children’s Theater, Cantus Children’s Choir, and Ignite Dance Studio. Her favorite thing in life is musical theater!!

Tatum Landry is a 9th grade student at Grapevine Faith Christian School. She’s been a part of the ensemble in: Shrek The Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, High School Musical, and Esther: For Such a Time as This. Tatum has also played the role of the mother in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, “Mrs. Dashwood” in Sense and Sensibility, and “Roxy the Diva Bird” in Wizard of Oz.

In the fall, Rylan will begin an apprenticeship with Anderson Electric through IEC.
