KEY CLUB PARTNERS AND CHARITIES

Editor Hi My name is Jocelyn Reyes and I'm the editor, along with Leyanet Eirea. We have 2 editors this year; Leyanet and me, alternate each month.

I asked a couple of our officers, including myself, these three questions. 1. What role does Key Club play in your everyday life? 2. What are you expecting from Key Club this upcoming school year? 3. What is your favorite hobby/food/sports etc. ? 1. Key Club allows me to come out of my comfort zone and venture out. Key Club is a club in which I'm enthusiastic to interact with others, participate in exciting activities and most importantly helping our community. 2. This 2018-2019 school year is going to be INCREDIBLE! In the past two years, I personally have seen Key Club grow and expand. I'm expecting it to keep on growing; I really want more people to get involved. I would anticipate more fundraisers, as well as everyone's favorite... more field days! 3. I like watching soccer and basketball. I also enjoy playing those sports. I like to eat the following (if you have never tried this before please do so, most of them are either Mexican or Honduran dish): Baliadas, Pupusas (that's' Salvadorian), Posole, Tamales, Enchiladas, Chicharrones....there is so much more, but I'll stop. Lastly, helping others is something i love to do as well.

Here is a fun activity: In every single page, starting with page 7 and excluding the "contact us" pages, there is a hidden shark somewhere. Try to spot it! Go SHARKS!!

Our Awesome President

LYNN Tran 1. What role does Key Club play in your everyday life? " Key Club is sort of a lifestyle that grows on you! Helping others is an action we all learn when we're little, but the more I get involved, the more easier it becomes to just help! Key Club has allowed me to connect with some of my best friends through both serving and caring. Pretty amazing, if you ask me!" 2. What are you expecting from Key Club this upcoming school year? "I am expecting another great year! I am ready for our new members to join us, and discover volunteering with their friends. I am ecstatic to help our club grow, and reach new goals!" 3. What is your favorite hobby/food/sport etc. ? "In my down time, I'm usually spotted just binge watching a show I've already seen, yet refuse to let go of! I also love watching penguin fail videos, because who doesn't? Last but not least, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and just hanging out!"
