Transfer Student Scholarships at St. John’s University (2024-25)

TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AT ST. JOHN’S UNIVERSITY (2024-25)

Amount: $4,000/year for active members. New transfer students with an associate degree are eligible for the $20,000/year Transfer Distinction Award, renewable for up to three years with good academic standing. This award cannot be combined with the University Transfer Merit Scholarship.

Transfer Distinction Award Amount: $20,000/year, renewable for up to three years Eligibility: new transfer students with an associate degree Condition: maintain good academic standing

University Transfer Merit Scholarships Amount: up to $23,000/year, renewable for three years Eligibility: new transfer students with 12+ credits and a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship Amount: $4,000/year for active members Condition: maintain a 3.0 grade point average at St. John’s

Service Scholarships

Amount: $2,000/year for up to three years Eligibility: dependent children of US police officers, firefighters, or military service members

Fall 2025 Engagement Grant Amount: up to $500.

Eligibility: attend Admission events like Open House or Accepted Student Day

Future Johnny Award Amount: $500 (one-time).

Eligibility: submit admission application by February 1, 2025, and deposit by May 1, 2025

Stay on Long Island Initiative Benefit: full or partial tuition scholarships.

Eligibility: graduates of Nassau Community College or Suffolk County Community College

Renewal Requirements Maintain a 3.0 grade point average Complete at least 12 credits per semester
