Updated-traditional and abstract designs in modern fashion colors, power-loomed in a multi-textural high-low weave using a creative combination of bamboo silk and acrylic yarns. Bound by hand and finished by hand, this especially fine collection displays a knots-per-square-inch equivalent that would be nearly impossible to achieve in hand-knotted styles.

THE ARTISANS OF MAFI RUGS Mafi Rugs is proud to work with some of the most skilled weaving artisans in the world who are passionate about their craft and take great pride in their work.

We travel the world to source the finest materials, dyes and yarn to create rugs that are truly works of art and a labor of love, from the selection of the raw materials to the final knot. Our weaving artisans carefully hand-card and spin the yarn, and then knot it by hand, row by row. A process that takes days of patience and dedication, but it results in a rug that is incredibly soft, durable, and beautiful.

The designs of our rugs are often inspired by ancient cultures, enduring heritage and timeless traditions of both modern and indigenous weaving communities. That is where our weavers draw their creativity to express their feelings and emotions in the rugs they create. Each rug is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of art.
