MESSAGE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER Dear Cypress Woods Members, Thank you to the 646 Members who took the time to cast your votes on the Amenities Masterplan. The project was rejected by a margin of 437 to 208, which means there will be no expansion of amenities and no assessment. The Board will take some time to reflect on the vote over the coming months before determining the next course of action for the Club. Welcome new Board Members Heather Perras and Mary Romano, and congratulations to Phil Oreste, Linda Kantor, Don Simard, and Mike Latimer on their reelection. Don Simard has been elected President, Bev Ricketts as Vice President, Diane Tache will remain as Treasurer, and Mike Latimer was elected Secretary. Thank you to Armund Janto and Frankie Romano who both depart the Board after 6 years of service. Both men have served the Club well and we thank them for all the time and effort that have put in to the Club though their three terms. If you would like to serve on a committee, please fill out an application and drop it to the Administration Office by Friday April 7th. The Board will review all committee applications and appoint the committee members by mid-April. A full list of committees and their responsibilities may be found on the club website under Member Central. Finally, safe travels to those of you heading to your northern homes this month. It has been a tremendously busy season, and we hope you enjoyed your time in Naples this winter. To our year rounders, we look forward to a fun summer of early morning golf and less traffic!
