The All Broward County Honor Music Concert Series
The All Broward County Honor Music Concert Series is a 4-night event. It consists of Concert Bands, Orchestras, Choirs, and Jazz Bands. Broward County student musicians and their clinicians rehearse for several days as an ensemble and then hold their performance here at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts.
All performances are free, open to the public, and start at 7:00 PM. Tonight is the second performance in our series. The first performance was on January 30, 2025, by the All Broward County Honor Bands. The third performance is on February 19, 2025, by the All Broward County Honor Choruses. The final performance in the series for the 2024-2025 school year be February 26, 2025 featuring the All Broward County Honor Jazz Bands.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate our wonderful Broward Musicians.

Conductor Susan Ott Rodberg
Susan Ott Rodberg is a National Board-Certified Teacher in Early/Middle Childhood Music/Orchestra. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, where she majored in violin and minored in cello.
After graduation, Ms. Rodberg began a 10-year study of the Suzuki Method. She has extensive experience teaching orchestral strings to people between the ages of 2 and 92. She is a member of the American String Teachers Association.
In 1993, she was invited to teach at the former Palm Beach County School of the Arts, now known as the Bak Middle School of the Arts and the Alexander W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts.
She currently teaches full-time at the U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School of the Arts. Her Elementary String Orchestra has been invited to play in many music festivals and stages in Philadelphia, New York, Orlando and many more. She helps cultivate and grow the Elementary String Orchestra by providing as many playing opportunities as possible for her students and coordinating events, such as the Orchestra Performance Assessment for Elementary String programs in Palm Beach County. The assessment gives Elementary String Programs the ability to perform on stage and receive a master class opportunity. She directs 4 Elementary string orchestras at the U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School of the Arts.
Ms. Rodberg has also been recognized for her dedication and achievements in the Arts. In 2006, she was named the Youth Orchestra Music Teacher of the Year and in 2019 the Palm Beach Symphony Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year.
In 2007, Ms. Rodberg joined the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County (YOPBC) faculty in her current role as String & Training Orchestra Conductor. They meet every Sunday and her ensemble performs on multiple stages. As the training orchestra conductor, she instills string fundamentals and pedagogical skills to grow in the YOPBC Program for many years. Under her direction, the students grow and develop skills on their string instruments and become successful musicians.
