The Forever One Day Exhibition The Orange Regional Gallery have a new exhibition opening, ‘The Forever One Day’, by artist Kevin Connor on September 29 at 6pm. The exhibition of figurative work by Kevin Connor features a selection of large canvas, alongside drawings and bronzes. Together they provide an insight into the extraordinary vision and daily observations of one of our most significant artists. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a monumental series of 600 sketchbook drawings. They add up to one of the most remarkable bodies of work produced in the history of Australia art. For six decades Kevin has observed human interactions, incidents, and circumstances in cities around the world, converting these experiences into raw and compelling images. Kevin’s first exhibition was in 1962 and he has held 60 solo exhibitions since, with his work being held in all state galleries and in the National Gallery. He has exhibited in the Archibald Prize over 25 times and has come away with two wins in 1975 and 1977. This is an Australian artist whose work is worth seeing, so be sure to go along to the Orange Regional Gallery for the official opening on September 29 at 6pm. The exhibition will be opened by his son Paul Connor and the exhibition will run from September 29 to November 25. This will be a free event.
