WINGS CLIPPED Orange Hawks Victor Ward is looking for support in his teams’ match against the Bathurst Panthers. Less than a week before the big NRL game, so too were Bathurst Council, as ticket sales were moving slower than hoped. However, the regions Rugby League fans responded in kind, with the crowd sneaking up over the 8000 mark. In the Curtain Raiser, The Hawks very nearly managed an upset over the highly fancied Panthers but it was not to be. Were you at Carrington Park last Saturday?
