AUGUST 25–31, 2011

Tomorrow is the 25th Anniversary of Daffodil Day celebrations in Australia. Daffodil Day is the Cancer Councils largest annual fundraising event, raising essential funds for cancer research, prevention and support services. It is the largest national fundraising event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and this year aims to raise over $9.5 million for cancer research and support. Make sure you keep an eye out for Daffodil Day volunteers tomorrow, and show your support for this very worthy cause! Monny Murphy got into the spirit of the day by taking a stroll through the daffodils in Cook Park.
