About the role

The Head of Commercial is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The post holder will develop and deliver the commercial strategy for Cwmni Egino to enable a Final Investment Decision. They will develop commercial relationships with key project partners, including the technology supplier, construction supplier and operator. The post holder will need to build an in-house commercial capability and relationships with supply chain partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the development programme.

• Defining and delivering the commercial strategy for Cwmni Egino that enables a Final Investment Decision to be taken

• Designing the target operating model, defining the roles of key project partners, the relationship with Great British Nuclear and the overall commercial framework governing those relationships

• Lead the process for selecting the technology for Trawsfynydd, aligned to the process being adopted by Great British Nuclear. Work with the Head of Project Development in integrating the technology provider into the project development programme

• Lead the commercial relationship with Nuclear Decommissioning Authority on land access rights and land acquisition

• Acquisition and management of land required beyond NDA site ownership

• Lead the relationship with National Grid, including management of the grid connection agreement

• Develop the supply chain strategy to ensure successful delivery of the project and to maximise the opportunity for companies in Wales to benefit from the project

• Develop and maintain the cost model for the project to support the development of various stages of the Business Case
