McKalia Sain was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina (NC) and raised in the small town of Maiden, NC. Her love for becoming a portrait and family photographer comes from being a social butterfly ever since she was a little girl. In 2019, Sain placed 2nd in the NC SKILLS USA Photography competition. Here you will find a wide range of outdoor and studio portraits. Photographing people helps me become more outgoing and confident with communicating with strangers. With portraiture, the idea is to use the likeness to communicate something about the people in the portraits. It Captures their personality, their essence, and how they are feeling.
