COMMERCIAL PORTFOLIO

I create the photographs I produce to shed new light on tired concepts. I like the idea of creating something different that no one has ever seen before. I like to be unique. I can’t stand the idea of being mundane. I’m influenced by the world of fashion. I’m influenced by people like Gianni & Donatella Versace and Carl Lagerfeld, groundbreaking individuals who trailblazed a path in the world of fashion. I’d like to think maybe someday I could be one of these groundbreaking individuals. What I like best about being a photographer is the fact that no one can copy your style. While people can copy your style, no one can copy your individualism. I take pride in being as individual as possible. I begin any project by sketching what I would like to try and accomplish first. I know that in that stage it might turn into something totally different than what I intended. I feel like that’s a part of the creative process. I want people to be blown away at the images I produce. I want them to step back and think “Hmm, I’ve never seen something quite like this before.” I want my images to feel premier, as though they each have significant value. In this portfolio of images, I feel that I have accomplished what I set out to do — create unique, commercial style images. Although the subject matter of the collection is wide, I feel like each and every image showcases my personal style.
