HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
The total number of treatments varies based on the area treated and type of hair being treated. Typically, 4-6 treatments spaced 6-12 weeks apart are recommended, depending on hair location.
WHY ARE MULTIPLE TREATMENTS REQUIRED?
Multiple treatments are required because hair grows in different phases. It’s important to repeat the treatments at the intervals recommended by your provider to achieve the best results. Missing a treatment could mean missing the optimal stage of hair growth for removal and may require additional treatments.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
xeo+ hair removal can be performed on the face and body. Commonly treated areas include face, underarms, legs, bikini area, and men’s chest, neck and back.
WHAT DOES XEO+ HAIR REMOVAL FEEL LIKE?
It is typically described as feeling like a mild sting snapping sensation. Most patients tolerate the treatment well and have no discomfort after. Sensitivity to pain does vary between people; therefore, topical anesthetic can be applied.
IS THERE DOWNTIME/WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER A XEO+ HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT?
No to minimal downtime, however, immediately following your treatment, the area may appear a bit red and swollen but this will subside. Following your xeo+ hair removal treatment you should apply sunscreen to the treated area and refrain from excessive sun exposure, hot tubs or applying any irritant to the treated area for a few days. Your provider will discuss additional post-treatment care during your consultation.
