Put Your Skin in the Spotlight
Over time, our skin can reveal the signs of aging, such as blotchy discolorations, more pronounced veins and bothersome imperfections like redness, rosacea, dark spots and sun damage. Limelight offers a solution to help even skin tone to let your skin glow.
Decrease brown pigmented areas, poikiloderma and diffuse redness with this innovative non-invasive intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment. Harnessing the power of three distinct light-based wavelengths, Limelight IPL targets imperfections associated with aging and photodamage.
WHAT IS XEO+ LIMELIGHT * IPL?
Limelight targets the signs of aging on the face and body by delivering bursts of intense pulsed light to target pigmented areas on the skin, such as age spots and sun damage, as well as vascular conditions like rosacea, redness, and tiny veins.
This process results in improved skin tone, reduced redness, and a more revitalized complexion.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Limelight IPL treats the face and various parts of the body. The most popular treatment areas include the face, neck, and décolletage.
WHAT DOES A LIMELIGHT TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
In just a few treatments, you’ll see visible improvement in:
PHOTODAMAGE
FRECKLES
AGE SPOTS, BROWN SPOTS,
SUN SPOTS
FACIAL REDNESS
FACIAL VEINS
Some patients experience a mild pinching sensation. No local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required; however, some patients may prefer to use a topical anesthetic when sensitive areas are treated.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
One to three treatments are usually sufficient to see results. Additional treatments may be recommended, especially for excessively sundamaged or aging skin. Your xeo+ provider will determine a treatment regimen specific to your skin concerns.
HOW LONG WILL THE
TREATMENTS TAKE?
Treatment time depends on the area of the body being treated. However, most treatments should take less than 30 minutes.
IS THERE DOWNTIME?
Patients may experience social downtime from the darkening of the treatment area (pigment) or some slight swelling. In most cases patients can return to their normal activities but it is recommended to avoid sunlight 4 weeks prior to treatment, working out for 24-48 hours, and hot tubs following the treatment until the treated area is healed.
CAN LIMELIGHT BE COMBINED WITH LASER GENESIS?
Yes, Limelight can be combined with Laser Genesis to help optimize results. This innovative approach revitalizes the skin, targeting a wide range of concerns such as uneven skin tone, sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles.
*Treatment parameters have not been developed for skin types V and VI. Treatments are primarily for patients with Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. The increased melanin in darker skin will also absorb the light and increase the risk of hypopigmentation/hyperpigmentation and/or an adverse event.
