Self Care: Treat Yourself, You Deserve It

No matter who you are or what you identify as, you deserve some form of self care. Life can be pretty overwhelming, and society/social media may feed you some negative stereotypes about how one may take care of themselves. Don’t listen to them, and think about one thing and one thing only: what activities make you happy?
Being a student doctor of physical therapy, I have a strict program schedule with a multitude of didactic material to study, making education feel like a 24-hour commitment. I love to take small breaks from studying to focus on myself, my emotional wellness, and giving myself a mental reset. These breaks consist of mindfulness meditation, treating myself to a small snack, and even a healthy bout of exercise
Self care comes in different forms and shapes for everyone, and that’s totally okay! Do what feels best for your body, whether it be in the domain of physical wellness, emotional wellness, or mental wellness You’ll thank yourself in the long run You deserve it

July Mood Board
This July we’re diving headfirst into the Summer content. We want to see our Genderless jewelry spending a day at the beach, or enjoying the outdoors. We’ll still implement grays, blacks, and whites. Think natural textures such as stones, sand, and water.
