Towering rocks rise before you as you sail through Endicott Arm, a glaciercarved fjord notable for its sparkling turquoise waters. There’s wildlife everywhere with clambering mountain goats and bald eagles soaring overhead, and the waters are one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for harbor seals. Within the expanse of Wrangell–St. Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska’s largest tidewater glacier measures more than 75 miles long and 7 miles wide. This giant moves at such a rapid pace that you might see large sections of ice calving from the glacier in a thunderous crash.
