our planning checklist: Review your budget Your budget is a key factor in planning. Nothing derails a plan like getting the perfect proposal, and it is out of your budget. The disappointment of knowing the perfect resort is out there and out of reach is hard to overcome when you may have another option you would have loved within a price point where you felt more comfortable. If you don’t know a general price point, we suggest looking at your dates on Tripadvisor or comparable websites to get a general idea of nightly rates

What is your vision?

Everyone dreams about their next vacation. Sharing those dreams is so important to the process. Do you have visions of miles of beach with a frozen drink in hand? Maybe your idea of the perfect vacation is ziplining over the treetops in the rainforest. Perhaps a combination of both? No matter what your vision is, we will do our best to make them a reality.

Your travel style How would you describe your travel style? Do you prefer luxury and exclusive accommodations? Boutique and intimate properties more your style? Is your vibe modern and functional? We need to know.

Important details We all have things that are important to us. These are are your must-haves. It could be something as broad as a great beach to vegetarian menus. If it's important to you, it is important to us.

Read all of the documents If we send it, it's important. Please read all of the emails, attachments, and documents. We are happy to schedule a call, in person meeting or Zoom to go over everything to answer any questions that may arise.

02. Step Two Based on the information gathered in our consultation, we present options and quotes that meet your needs.

03. Step Three Book your trip. A deposit will be due at the time of booking. Final payment is normally due 45 - 30 days prior to travel. And finally, relax knowing all the details are being handled and you can focus on packing.

frequently asked questions: Do travel packages cost more when you use a travel advisor?

Generally, our pricing is the same, if not better than you can find on the internet. We have access to rates, promotions, and resources that are not offered to the public.

Is the full vacation package due at the time of booking?

Usually vacation packages can be booked with a deposit with the final payment due between 45 30 days prior to travel. Each vacation is different, so while this is the usual scenario, your vacation package may have different terms and conditions.

Why should I book with Custom Travel Professionals vs. booking on my own?

Travel is our career. We have experience with destinations all over the world. That experience has cultivated in destination partners that ensure our clients get VIP service. We stay abreast of the ever changing travel protocols to provide a peace of mind that you are fully prepared for your vacation.

How can I protect my travel investment?

We offer travel protection both from suppliers and third party insurance companies. We all anticipate a flawless vacation, but when hiccups happen it's always reassuring to know that you are safeguarded from certain financial losses that may occur.

I am not vaccinated from COVID-19. Are there places I can travel?

Absolutely! Not only can you travel within the continental US, there are options within the Caribbean and Europe that are open to unvaccinated as well. We are seeing the world open up more and more everyday giving unvaccinated travelers additional options.
